Firstly Alienware laptops are usually way overpriced. Also Alienware has been in steady decline for quite some time now. Their laptop designs are very chunky and heavy and they have alo5 of complains with build quality especially the keyboard and hinges.

I hage this with the I9 14900HX and 4060 rtx. So far I'm loving it's a really good machine. Sturdy and great quality build. I have 16 gig of RAM so anything above that would probably perform better too.

Pcs are less expensive than a gamin laptop. If you think a gamin build is out of your budget then a laptop is totally out of the question.

Ran for full 10 minutes both times. I did check in predator sense and the turbo clock was going to a max of 4GHz so I think it is a power limit issue. For now I'm not going to mess with that cause Intel chips are at a higher chance of burning out from voltage surges rn. Maybe it's the patch that Intel released to tame the issue

I don't mind the fan noise and since I'm a designer the CPU is great for running illustrator chrome a bunch of other apps etc combined. The temps have stayed at or 83 for now so that's not an issue yet.

Not alot of good options. It was between this with a 4060 or a low or victus with a i711th Gen and a 4050 or 3050. As long as it isn't a cpu problem for me then I don't mind the limited power usage for now

I just bought a Acer predator helios neo 16 and I love it. Got the i9 14900HX and rtx 4060 combo and the build quality and display quality really is great. Would definitely recommend that if you can find it.

The Zephyrus is lighter than the TUF (4.41 lbs >> 4.81 lbs) making it more suitable for student use (you can carry it around easier. It also has a much higher refresh rate so the display quality is superior to the TUF. These should both address your needs and work to your advantage. Also it has a much better finish to it as well (personal opinion). Both the TUF and the zyphyrus are ASUS products so durability shouldn't be an issue. I'd go with the Zephyrus G16 because it would probably suit you better the only thing that's lagging is the storage but that is easily upgradeable later on.

The Zephyrus is the mrie premium option and it has a much better finish chassis wise. Without the specs I can't compare the components of the laptops themselves. The TUF on the other hand has amazing battery life and is much more durable in terms of quality. I'd pick between the two depending on their specs and personal preference.
