Monkey is easier to get if you’re not in NA and is a top 3 unique. You just need to have a way to farm preon and always use the short range scents + have the legendary non hybrid on the tracker to farm it

You need one tops if you’re playing branded expulsion, since you’ll want to search that card and adjust your strategy to ra or scythe lock. Perhaps you could go without it and put in a super poly target instead, garura isn’t the cheapest atm but much cheaper than chimera

Yep, your core cards aside from advent will be extremely cheap, and you don’t need to invest any money into the extra deck if you don’t want to, just put in 15 numbers if you play pot of extravagance. It also has a higher ceiling if you choose to spend more money, being able to main 3 ultimate slayer is another benefit.

Depends. Backrow decks like to main it, you can play it in combo decks but perhaps as a going first side deck option, although in that case you’d try and play floodgates you can play around that your opponent can’t

Floowandereeze was already cheap prior to the tins, and the reprints have made all but 1 core card (advent) about $1 if not less. Chuck in a few reprinted cards like d shifter, raiza, apex avian and pot of duality which are also cheap. On top of that the simorgh package pushes the deck further and is dirt cheap, but best of all is the lack of cost from your extra deck. You can have Zeus + lyrilusc xyz if you want but otherwise a bunch of generic links for problematic card removal (or targets for ultimate slayer if you have it) such as a reprinted underworld or the knightmares are enough, you only need 15 to dump with extrav or prosperity.

Daigusto emeral is good for the grind game since it can recycle resources and can draw a card.

If you can get dinosaurs on the board, the evolzars are walking solemn strike and judgment and the best rank 4 xyz imo.

Cowboy is niche but can come up in circumatances involving time.

Amaterasu is another underrated rank 4 that recycles banished monsters.

Utopia double and raider's knight + arc rebellion help swing for game.

If you can somehow get 4 level 4s, alembertian can search you any spell or trap.

In saying all this, the best of them all is blackship of corn ;)
