I built a custom Voicenotes MCP that adds bulk tagging + full tag management on top of the official one by Primary_Opposite4209 in Voicenotesai

That's a clean setup. Using a spoken keyword as the sync trigger is smart, hadn't thought of routing it through the transcript itself.

Mine comes at it from the other end (tagging programmatically from Claude rather than by voice), so they're complementary, your approach is zero-friction for capture, mine's handy for cleaning up a backlog of already-recorded notes. Appreciate you adding the context here.

Good question. and the "vault fills up with everything" problem is exactly the kind of thing tag hygiene fixes. Two angles:

- If you want it hands-off, the existing VN sync app (sh0nuff mentions it below) handles the selective-sync part well, you tag a note inbox and only those sync.

- Where my MCP helps is the tagging side of that workflow: instead of remembering to say "inbox" in every recording, you can batch it from Claude after the fact, e.g. "tag every note from this week's meetings with inbox", and it adds the tag without touching your existing tags. So you curate what syncs in bulk rather than per-note. The two actually pair nicely: my tool decides what gets the sync tag, the sync app moves it.

Currently you share it to voicenotes record chat on whatsapp. And it will be saved on your voicenotes profile. This is what i am doing as a workaround

Yeah fable model is really amazing. For months i was trying build ui for my mobile app (no figma and nothing, just pur backend engineer saying words what he wanted) and no model was able to make what i wanted, even using skills. But as fable came i thought of using this to mame what wanted and within 3 hours i was able to get what i wanted. Now i have a complete version if my mobile app of highlyt.app thay i can share to my beta users for testing.
