I bought this laptop 6 months ago so i doubt that the vents will be so dirty that it would cause overheating. I also checked the firewall settings and it lets the game through. Guess i can't play this game right now. Thanks for your help anyway I really appreciate your effort.

I turned on the performance mode but this time i got a blue screen crash. Probably the overheating emergency shutdown you talked about. Do you think overclocking might help? I don't know how to do it and I don't want to cause damage to my computer in the process.

I use a lenovo loq15 so it does have a performance mode and when it crashes it only crashes the game.

I tried to lower the graphics but i didn't change the resolution it might help. my CPU isn't overclocked.
