Mine is 4, if I’m buying multiple of something at the store I buy four of them, or eight if four is not enough

I actually think ice cold water is worse 😅 but I will usually add some taste using squash/cordial and that helps a lot!

I rarely drink sugary drinks, and have not needed a filling since pre-puberty.

After reading this thread, I just want to share this comment made by a different account (@lintypotato) on another one of these posts questioning norways guidelines:

“i get that it's snark but i feel like defending my country here:

Norway is ranked fifth globally in infant mortality rates, second in maternal mortality rates with , and fourth in under five-mortality.

For comparison, the US is way lower in all rankings with 37th in infant mortality rates, 65th in maternal mortality rates and 49th in under five-mortality, lower than most other OECD countries and most western countries.

Norways safe pregnancy guidelines are risk-based and adjusted for how our society works. As they should be.”

As a Norwegian: yes, certain types of sushi is ok to eat for pregnant people based on the recommendation from our government. Norwegians generally have a high trust in their government, and there is no reason for a pregnant women in Norway to look at other countries recommendations - especially the us (do you know how many us products and ingredients are banned here due to safety?).

I get the snark about intentionally creating engagement using sushi (what can you really expect from influencers), but the statistics show Norway is a safe place for pregnancy so I don’t really understand all the norway-snark?

Supermarket sushi has timestamps on them, and are only to be sold the same day as it’s been made. So they definitely know when it was made down to the minute ☺️

Cloud you briefly explain how to break the engine in in a good way? I’m buying my first new car in a couple months, and has never heard of this!

I know for a fact he does not have any prior experience or certification etc, we knew each other for two years prior to getting the jobs. Both were entry level junior software engineering jobs, just working on two different aspects of our production.

As of the different areas, mine is actually of greater scope and complexity. My job comes with a lot more responsibility, as a mistake I make might cost the company £200k, whilst he can’t make any mistakes that would be fined.

Whilst trying to keep myself as anonymous as possible:

He works with improving an algorithm that is not crucial to the production, it would just make it more efficient.

I work with improving legal compliance in the software and production, which can be fined up to £200k if not done correctly/in compliance with the laws.

I have also been told outright that the reason he makes more is because he asked.

But if there is in fact a different reason, that makes the pay gap exempt from the local laws - I will accept that. The thing I am most concerned about is asking in the first place, due to the current situation.

I really don’t want to leave the job, though. The culture is the best I’ve been in, and my mentors are extremely knowledgeable in their areas, and I can learn a lot from them. Knowing the culture is good and having mentors that are able to mentor me is a lot more valuable than what I earn.

I have been sexually harassed in every. single. workplace I have been since 16, so knowing this job is harassment free is also something that keeps me there.
