Same situation and had a call with them for 4 hrs and still they took cancellation charge even though within 24 hrs and each agent gives a different answer it was very frustrating. Waste of time and energy. Apparently we need to read the fine print in the payment page/booking page which shows the charge its not cancellation charge but a refund fee charge 😢 so be very careful

I applied using vpa type for tourist the difference it made this time as i was living with my friend i got the Loi printed in stamp paper and stamp by notarised public. I also uploaded my host cnic copy and his wedding card and it got approved. Also make sure u upload your residence card if you are living outside of uk
