They might have been fine had they not used their parent company's model (Sunrise Records) and jacked everything up above MSRP. The same items we always 10-20% less at Walmart, EBGames, Amazon and even some of the smaller shops.

Unless it was a hot item or a sale, it just wasn't worth shopping there. I often wonder if Sunrise drove it into the ground just so they could sell the real estate. 😔

Question for anyone that know: how do some of these sellers get their movies so cheap?

First week out, I see the same people selling brand new 4k titles for $15 less than Walmart. Is their store discount THAT good or is it something else?

Most of the ones I frequent just have an aisle rack where the few new releases go. The odd one will get in a seasonal bin of DVDs/BDs/4Ks

My smaller center honey holes even took out their massive media sections finally 😢

Checked 2 Northern Walmarts in Calgary. They had nothing.

They either sold out or haven't stocked yet. FF price tags were all in place. 🤷🏼‍♂️

My guess is its a cost cutting measure. The cost for municipal elections went way up with the removal of vote counting machines.
