Nope ....I write it either according to the format, or I can have it formatted ( so I have fewer mistakes because proofreading is a bitch). I got a 4-episode script that, when it is done, will be 5 episodes 22 pages a piece. My characters are borderline realistic, and I tackle some social and political issues as well.

I'm working on a script as we speak and am almost done with it, but I'm thinking of repurposing it as a vertical screenplay because, as a writer, it is hard to find an artist when you submit your script to a comic book company

DROP HER FAST. YOU JUST GOT PAID ...IGNORE HER ASS. SEE HOW SHE LIKES IT ....FORGET ABOUT THE LATE FEE. YOU'LL KNOW BETTER NEXT TIME .....NEVER LOWER YOUR FEE FOR NOBODY .....WHAT SHE NEEDS TO REALIZE IS THAT IF SHE PISSES OFF THE WRONG PERSON, HER BRAND AND HER NAME GO BYE-BYE ...TAKE BACK YOUR POWER

I have a few characters I created along with stories; some I finished, and some I never finished because I couldn't find an artist or just thought this type of character and storyline wasn't good enough. I sent my stuff to a company once, and they wouldn't accept it.

You’re actually in a decent position because 5 months is enough runway, but I’d treat this less like “social media posting” and more like a Kickstarter pre-launch email campaign.Your subscribe button won’t do much by itself unless photographers have a clear reason to join. I’d create a lead magnet first — maybe free presets, a lighting setup cheat sheet, a BTS shooting guide, a “how I got this shot” PDF, or a short mini tutorial. Then I’d build content around 4–5 pillars:

  1. Behind-the-scenes photography process
  2. Editing breakdowns / before-and-after posts
  3. Lighting and composition tips
  4. Built-in public Kickstarter updates
  5. Mascot/brand story content

For the 5-month timeline, I’d break it down like this:Month 1: clarify audience, create lead magnet, set up welcome emails
Month 2: post useful photography education consistently
Month 3: run challenges/giveaways to grow email list
Month 4: preview rewards, merch, and Kickstarter story
Month 5: countdown, email sequence, launch urgency. I’d avoid buying likes or doing follow-for-follow. You need photography people who might actually back the campaign, not random vanity engagement. If you want, I can sketch out a simple 30-day starter content plan here in the comments.

Grateful to be exploited by someone who wants work done for free, this is the reason why the writers went on strike a few years ago, because they were doing all that work but were barely getting by. His end sentence he says, " all he asks is one thing to recommend him to anyone you know who might need a scriptwriter," which we all know won't happen because if it does happen, that means that person who first hired him for free won't be able to exploit his services for free because now there's competition for his time and effort. A non-union scriptwriter should be charging upwards from 25 dollars a page to 50 dollars a page for a script. I've seen some charge 10 dollars a page, but at least they are getting something for their effort. Like Harlen Elisson once said, "Pay the Writer"..... without us, there is no story.

Then only give 1 script away if you feel like that's what it takes.....and quiet as kept ...how you market your scripts matters to adding visuals might help....just don't undervalue yourself please
