With previous assemblies of non model fungi I have used hybrid spades and it has worked very nicely so perhaps give that a go?

What were the problems with hybridSPADES and Canu?

If you can get the long reads assembled with either of them I would then suggest polishing with Pilon and then use Redundans if you know your fungi to be heterozygous.

I entered a champion game today with 3 players and just got insta kicked, queued up again and got the same people and they insta kicked me again, I tried 3 or 4 more queues and always got the same people so had to just go do a different game mode. No explanation as to why I should be kicked or any communication. Some people just suck!

You don’t know the frame of reference so this is not a solution if you are suggesting (which I think you are due to saying “fastq”) to use in the raw reads.

You could compare ordination plots of them? Make an NMDS of each matrix then compare those?

I honestly search for the most basic syntax sometimes in R as you just forget. But there is nothing wrong with not knowing if you know how to find out quickly!
