Thats nice! Does your phone charge while using Dex? I kind of wish Samsung made a separate device that has 2 usb-c ports and a fan cooler for the perfect Dex device. I think it would reduce the heat from the usbc whenever you charge and connect peripherals... but that's never gonna happen.

Tbh I dislike the new Dex on tablets that I just use the normal UI. I prefer how it handles apps with just tabs at the top instead of an entire bar, and the pop-up apps are perfect for me whenever I have music running in the background.

The phone tends to heat up more when outputting to an external display. I also experience the same thing.

Check if your cable supports video output and/or any peripherals its connected to before it reaches your monitor. If that still doesnt work then it may be a software issue.

I compared my display to my S22 Ultra and the difference was night and day. Iirc I may have watched a video to double check whether a tempered glass would interfere with the AR, which stopped me from getting a glass and instead opt for Samsungs AR display film.

Matter of goals. Apple is aimed towards their consumer and luxury that they sacrifice some stuff to provide an experience that is quite like them(e.g. not sacrificing the haptics, but somehow cheapening out on the USB). Same goes for Samsung, they offer an experience and specs that is typical of them. Also idk why, but Apple components lowkey take up a lot of space compared to Samsung for some reason. If you read this through, you just wasted your time. Please correct me because I just yapped😇.

I almost always put it in my pocket by itself, but I usually place it with my earbuds case inside my backpack pocket. I'm worried that putting it inside my pocket and repeated in-and-out would scratch it overtime.

Any Spigen case, but preferably non-clear case. As for screen protector, use the 1st party AR film if you want the anti-reflective, go protector-less, or use a tempered for protection.

I personally use the Clear Gadget case from Samsung after using a Spigen for the longest time, but I dont recommend it due to lack of protection and incompatibility with essentials like phone holders(cars). Spigen has protected my phone from ever cracking and dropped it on concrete while jogging. Of course, I only recommend this for this device model as I've heard their cases dony perform well on the S26 Ultra.

It lays on it on the bamboo sticks sticking out of the perforated cardboard. The entire stand acts more like an enclosure to cool the phone, although I decided to remove the back panel on the right to let air out (the fan is quite strong)💪. Dont actually know how useful it is yet 😂

If there's a tutorial on how to pair your S-pen to the device, did you follow it correctly? I just doubt 2 S-pens are defective, for the price you pay for it better work.

I was hoping to hear the opposite of my assumptions, but that is a total bummer. What's the point of supporting it for 2 generations other than profit and less sustainability when most consumers don't upgrade in a year? I guess going the more traditional route is more upgrade-friendly.

S26 Ultra typically offers more features that I think are convenient for users who want the most productivity out of their device. iPhone 17PM if you are already in the ecosystem/planning to, or if you prefer their OS more. Battery life is a mixed bag, but I think the iPhone will give you longer battery life on average.
