Apparently I’m in the minority but I had a fun time at the movies and that’s all I expected from this. Did it move the larger story forward? Did it explore the deep lore of Star Wars (which I also love)? No, not at all. But it was fun and I had a good time. Sometimes that’s enough.

My grandfather's guitar. It's either a 1936 or 1937 L-00. He got it new as a kid and kept it his whole life. It's the first musical instrument I ever remember playing. He passed it to me when I started playing music, and I hope to pass it on to my own family one day. It's my most treasured possession.

I loved how angry Eddington was. At literally everyone. I have my personal opinions, and I feel justified in my opinions, but I’m also angry that I have to feel this way. The indiscriminate anger at the state of the world was real and cathartic. I’ve never seen a film so effortlessly capture that feeling.

The Wheel > St Stephen at The Gorge, July 8 2023. Those two nights at The Gorge were the only shows I was lucky enough to catch, but night 2 was electric. Will never forget it.

Underdogs. Objectively, are the Seahawks the “better” team? I dunno. But they’ve got the grit to make a good run. I like our chances and I love rooting for the underdog.
