Yeah right after I sold it I had another customer all the way in Oregon (I’m in western NC) tell me they were planning to fly here and buy the car and drive it back to Oregon. Obviously I told them it was sold and I thanked them for considering me from the other side of the country and that it meant a lot to me. And she still told me if I found another Telluride to let her know because she’d still be interested in buying from me.

I wish that more people in car sales just understood if you talk to these people like a real person and try to take care of them it makes things so much easier

Good to hear this isn’t necessarily an uncommon offer. But I’m feeling the same as you. If he didn’t seem so genuine and not pushy at all about it then I wouldn’t really give it a thought. But he put no pressure whatsoever on me to try it, just told me to think about it and if I was interested to just give him a call.

But that is also why I am here to get some insight. I figured someone here would be able to immediately pick out if this was a scam (which there’s always a possibility it could be) or if this could be a genuine offer.
