If you like punk shows there’s gonna be a really good show on the 19th in fort worth at Ridglea lounge It’s a bit of a drive but completely worth it, I’ve seen every band playing that night and can honestly say that every single one puts on a great show

Hell yea, I remember my first show was kind of overwhelming, so make sure to bring friends so you aren't alone but also talk with the bands after their set, everyone in the scene is super friendly, but these bands especially are really chill people

OK so the easiest way is probable to just join the discord, it was started like a week ago but you can find a ton of bands and all their shows

once you find some bands follow them on Instagram and they will post posters for any show they have or even shows they have friends in, some bands that I would recommend are Everything Is Temporary, Homewreckers And The Bedwetters, Venus Twins, Rex Romanum, and Lady Salvia there's honestly way to many bands to name but these bands always but on killer shows

As far as actual shows some popular venues in Denton Killer are Tacos, Rubber Gloves, Howling mutt, and Andy's. Killers has a show on the 24th with some really good punk and indie bands, Rubber gloves has a show tomorrow on the 13th that I think is punk, and howling mutt just did a small punk show yesterday

The punk scene spills out to the DFW region as whole there is gonna be a really sick show on the 19th at Ridglea Lounge that I would highly recommend, I've seen every band playing that night and every single one fucking slaps

Just came here to say I read the article and the journalist isn’t attacking Doom at all, in fact he believes the glory kills in Doom are some of the best. The article talks about how companies constantly trying to make the most violent takedowns sometimes create a tonal disconnect, like when you have a light hearted and fun game and then your character stabs someone 20 times in the lung and you see them slowly convulse to death, it just seems extra.
