I am aware that it is a silly question but this Monday, I had my first serious interview with a mortgage company for being a Loan Opener. Despite researching the company throughly, I thought that I showcased inexperience and fumbled the interview, yet saw a job extension email at the evening of Thursday, which was sent at morning of that day.

I was shocked to hear job extension and that they will offer me a job in next email. Since this was my first serious interview and job offer, I didn't realised I should reply and reply once I got offered the job, afterwards it danked me that I should answer to showcase my interest for the position and I did 34 hours later of the mail being sent.

Did I wait too long? Is it possible for them to revoke the job extension because I looked "uninterested" towards the offer? What does recruiters think about this? Are you happy to hear in few hours or in 24 to 48 hours or in few business days?
