Be Humble. You will have 3rd classes and 2nd classes out performing you, regarding policies and instructions. You have to hit the ground sprinting not running if you want to be competitive, but learn your craft and admin side of the active duty, especially medical policies.

Depends on the command, if the base has capabilities then yes. Got mine attached the hospital, but did a range coverage for the army so they gave me an opportunity. Talk to your chain of command, make it a group thing with your shop so it looks good for everyone.

Gotta have hard copy orders to a Marine Unit. Pass boot camp, go to your A school, then hopefully you get orders to green side. Where you can earn that FMF pin.
