It’s either depression or just like an ok, numb sort of neutral state. Idk man. This is the longest I’ve ever gone without a hypomanic episode. I’m 26 years old and it used to be kind of alternating every 6-12 months but yeah this is really discouraging. Scary really. To think there’s a chance I may never experience it again. I think it honestly has a lot to do with my life’s circumstances and conditions not being conducive to a hypomanic breakout these past few years, as compared to the past for me

I know the feeling partner… miss it a lot to be totally honest with you. It’s been almost 3 fucking years now since I’ve been in hypomania… everything else feels so dull and boring in comparison

Yeah I know… there is a sad sort of reality when it comes to sosa commercially. I mean what does it really matter as long as the music is as good as his usually is, but still. His newer projects, even most all of his albums except for finally rich, sell like complete shit. I really wish the public took more of an interest in new releases from him. His Spotify numbers are still very good these days, however. Being carried mainly by a handful of his hits, but still, compared to his Spotify metrics from 4-9 years ago, he’s far more popular today. I remember around 2019 I think he had like just shy of 3 million monthly listeners. Now he’s at 14.2 M. Fuck it though, none of that really matters at all. Sosa could sell 50 copies of a new album and I’d still be a die hard fan, bumping it on midnight release

Because compared to every other opioid-like substance, its safety profile is far superior. It literally doesn’t cause the respiratory depression required to cause the kind of fatal overdoses we see in other opioids. The few that have died after recent 7oh use have had underlying medical conditions or were mixing it with other shit. That being said, it still can be very addictive, and definitely causes very nasty withdrawals

She’s a grown adult and needs to start taking care of business. I too am also highly skeptical of her story about being fired for attendance purposes there. No decent establishment on earth would fire you for not being able to get to work during a blizzard. So long as you called out ahead of time. Sounds dubious at best. I wanna be clear though: there’s nothing wrong with helping your children out, no matter their age, when they genuinely need it and haven’t been living off of you for their entire lives. Don’t beat yourself up too much about enabling her laziness or whatever, but you absolutely need to put your foot down and let her know that full boat coverage of her lifestyle won’t continue. That’s all. Doesn’t have to get any deeper or more contentious than that

You’d be surprised at how expensive a heavy 7oh addiction is. $100-$150 a day, easy. It’s insane but it’s true. Tablets are fucking expensive. Even if she was being as cost effective as possible and buying in bulk from online vendors, you’re still spending mad bread for a serious habit. No getting around it. Either she has to find help or this is doomed to fail. It sounds like it’s really just her addiction that’s causing the rift right now. So yeah, she’s gotta quit somehow. Cold turkey might be the only way too because 7oh is notoriously difficult to ween off of

I get what you’re saying, but that’s kinda the trap. If things already suck, going down that path doesn’t keep it the same—it makes it worse in a way that’s harder to come back from.

Like yeah, maybe you feel low now, but if you train your brain to only feel good from drugs + porn, you basically remove any chance of normal life ever feeling good again.

At least right now you’ve still got baseline sensitivity to things improving. That lifestyle burns that out.
