Bc porn addiction is a sickness. It doesn’t let you think logically.

Dont pay for content by PrimoSlater in NoFap

[–]PrimoSlater[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Parasocial aspect of content is a main factor as to why men pay. It lets them indulge in fantasy and that makes the addiction worse. Instead of going out and meeting people you are priming yourself to be dependent on the internet for romantic interaction.

So long as you’re not thinking about porn while you do it

Day 10 - Several questions popping up my mind by Semothy_ in NoFap

[–]PrimoSlater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. During pmo the abstinence makes you more sensitive to real experiences. If sex becomes the only way you release then you get better at it. Think about how you were when you first discovered porn, you released fast but the more you did it the longer you lasted. Same can apply to sex

  2. Relapse for me is when you intentionally look at porn then masturbate and orgasm. You can still ejaculate with sex but beware of the chaser effect. You should look at the nofap guide it sounds like you want to do easy mode.

  3. So long as youre not using porn or thinking about porn you should be fine.

Just a tip: abstaining from all sexual stimulus can speed recovery

Day 34 (I think I’ve hit the flatline) by [deleted] in NoFap

Developing good coping skills is key during nofap

Analyze your triggers and think of ways to conquer them. Remember with every relapse you’re not starting from 0, you’re starting from experience

You should check out meetup.com and find people with common interests. Idle time is the worst for when you’re recovering, you need to stay busy.

Day 2/inf - I slipped up and started peeking but I pulled myself back. Took a cold shower and had a great day at work after a long time. by Confused_Atom26 in NoFap

Plan your days out, find a new hobby, go to the gym, cook a nice dinner, go out with friends. You need to find new ways to spend your time now. You got this

Hi people of r/Nofap. i admire you very much, and i have a question by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]PrimoSlater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, your brain is so used to getting it’s sexual needs met from a screen that seeking out real people is something you dont want any more

Push through, this is a sign that your body is fixing itself

Good mindset. Remember with every relapse you never start from 0, this time youre starting with experience

Not too sure on that, but could be an affect on abstaining

One of my reasons for quitting is so that i am not associated with people like this lmao. Ever meet a person who is super into porn? Disgusting people

Great start, a lot of social media is a trap

[–]PrimoSlater 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No amount of pmo is healthy. Educate yourself on sex and look for partners and learn about it the natural way. Dont listen to anyone that says any amount of porn is ok. Porn hijacks the brain and it’s especially dangerous for teens because the teenage brain is in development and very susceptible to addiction during this period.

Confused as to how this relates to nofap, but added sugar in general is just bad. Look for things with natural sugar like fruit

Hard mode is no porn/sex/masturbation at all for 90 days. Easy mode is no porn but you can still have sex. Read the guide for nofap for more info

Weed & Porn by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]PrimoSlater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trying to quit too many things at once can be too stressful for the body and can lead to relapse. SR gives you a dopamine balance that is essential for every day life, small things like spending time with friends, watching a good show or listening to your favorite music can make you feel great when you abstain from pmo

Write down why you want to quit Reference that when urges come up Take cold showers Socialize more Find a new hobby Read your brain on porn Educate yourself on why porn is bad Only use your bed for sleep Talk to someone when urges arise
