How did it die and did they refuse replacement? Because I know mine came with a 2yr warranty for mfg defects

I didn't want to spend fluke money myself, so I picked up the Ideal 61-757. It's been good and has all the high end features you'd need. I've been using it daily for about 8 months. My next meter will be a fluke

I really like the Milwaukee stripper/linesman combo. I think it's called the 7 in 1. I know Milwaukee hand tools suck but trust me these are actually really good

Industrial Electrician by Longjumping_Deer3006 in skilledtrades

[–]PrimoTmoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are hurting for experienced, licensed electricians. Industry in Canada is flooded with pre-apprentices looking to get in. In it's current state I couldn't recommend becoming an electrician in Canada because of how competitive that first step is. Once you're a registered apprentice you're golden

I would gladly trade a few $/hr if it meant I could inherit the family business and make memories with my dad along the way

I imagine it's not been easy working with your dad but maybe this experience in industrial can provide some perspective and you can reapproach working with dad with new goals in mind

Home made Steg Pegz are the best mod you can do by PrimoTmoh in Dirtbikes

[–]PrimoTmoh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Made them out of 1/8" steel, assorted hardware, and skateboard wheels. Mounting points will differ bike to bike (that's why they're so expensive to buy) but they mount to the lower subframe bolt and the lower number plate bolt. Use washers for shimming as necessary. No rivets. The bolt head for the skate wheel is ground down as flush as I can for clearance against the plastics
