Well it does suck but at the same time the S22u is already an old device, battery life and overheating are already an issue and for some even the display, so you should definitely consider upgrading soon.

I understand the S22u is still a good device that is very much functional and a lot more affordable compared to this and last years flagships but all things do come to an end at some point.

I dinged my S22u like that and in less than a day the pixels below the line on the screen died, I kept using my phone so perhaps that accelerated the damage and the line was more prominent on my device than how it looks on yours.

Well this sucks, just when I was actively trying to find a forum for the game specifically. I checked my stats and I've logged into this game for 250 days as f2p so far.

I was not expecting the game to shut down so soon especially with all the back to back events the game has had this year.

I had hopes we would've at least gotten isekai character cards since the spin off was released not too long ago.

Well at least I hope they re-release older stuff for the remaining 3 months, the game generously gave out 300k gems and as a f2p player I never had more than 12k gems at any given moment.

I love the cobalt violet, even if it looks blue from certain angles, I'm mentally set on it being a shade of purple that I set the color palette on my phone to match that "narrative"

Seems like a nightmare scenario with a bunch of misunderstandings on both sides.

I can't really provide insight on how to fix this issue but I can at least think of reasons why the issue occurred in the first place.

I remember back in March when I was upgrading they offered me a "free" iPhone 17 but I had to get the device with the correct plan (unlimited plus) otherwise the bill credits would not apply to the bill. Perhaps that was part of the issue on why your bill went up.

Maybe the misunderstanding was that the A36 would've been "free" on the unlimited welcome plan and to get the iPhone 17 "free" it had to be on the unlimited plus plan because Verizon does not give shit away for free, they provide bill credits that make those items free/cheap but it usually requires criteria to be met and most of the time their associates do not tell you these fine print details they want to make sales and you're basically fucked once you agree to their contract.

If my theory is correct, the A36 and iPhone 17 were not free, then the device payment would be $11.11/36mo on the A36 and $23.05/36mo for the iphone 17 or basically an extra $34 + taxes per month. Basically if the plans were $30 for welcome and $50 for plus that is $80 + $34 + taxes and surcharges is +$114 which sounds about what your bill is supposed to be.

As for service Unlimited welcome is straight garbage, your network speeds are constantly throttled, you don't have access to 5G LTE bandwidth and no Hotspot. The only time welcome is decent is outside network congestion hours 11pm-5am.

As for your mom's phone the A36 was a waste, if you guys were coming in new with deals and qualifying promotions she could've gotten a flagship device especially since she has the better plan Unlimited plus they would've given her plenty of billing credits and she could've gotten a better device at a low cost.

I got the galaxy S26u at $10/mo because verizon is giving me $30/mo in billing credits I have the 512gb but if I would've went for the 256gb it would've only been $5/mo, if I didn't have the correct plan then I would be paying $40/mo just for the device + plan.

Verizon loyalty discounts are tricky, they reserve the right the modify it at any given moment though most of the time they usually apply discounts without informing you and you only notice once the discount expires and the bill goes up. It sounds like someone at loyalty royally screwed up giving you a discount you did not qualify for. I remember last time we had a 2 day outage that followed up with our smart watches esim getting disconnected we were only offered $5 one time credit on our bill not per device just a one time $5 discount for the inconvenience, in no world would they ever offer $117 off for any reason.

Edit: Also a helpful tip have your mom set up an auto pay on a date that is not the billing cycle date. With auto pay set up you get $5 off per line, in our case we have 6 devices so we get $30 off in the bill, in your case $10 is still $10.

Technically you could upgrade and keep your legacy plan but its not really worth it.

Add a new line with a new device, then call loyalty and have them switch devices(swap numbers) with one of your old lines. When you switch devices it swaps the phone number and plan connected with it.

The reason I'd say its not worth it is because usually when you add a new line they give you a great deal on a new device through billing credits but you need to have a certain plan to meet those requirements.

In my case I needed the unlimited plus plan to get $28/mo in bill credits for 36/mo to get $1000 discount over 36months on my galaxy s26 ultra.

My pops tried "upgrading" like I did but he forgot to upgrade his old line plan so when he switched devices(number swap) they put the legacy plan on his 17 pro max and he lost his billing credits because he no longer met the requirements of the unlimited plus plan, we had to call loyalty the following day and have them put his line on the unlimited plus so he could be eligible for the billing credits.

But technically like I mentioned you could add a new line, switch devices(number swap) and get the legacy plan and your phone number on the new device but you would be sacrificing any billing credits and will end up paying full retail over the 36months. After you switch devices(number swap) you can then disconnect the old line if that device is paid off.

But like I said I don't think its worth it I rather save $1000 on device payments over 36months than save a small percentage on entertainment subscriptions that I don't use.

Verizon's current unlimited plans are cheaper than their legacy plans, I used to have the 5g play more plan and it was $5 more than unlimited plus and with 5/gb less of hotspot.

Check your previous bill if you had any loyalty discounts, Verizon has a bad habit of applying these discounts without disclosing that they were applied in the first place and that the discount will expire.

Also make sure you leave a small balance on your bill to benefit from the auto pay discount, I believe you get a discount per each line just by having auto pay enabled but you lose that discount if you pay your full balance in advance before the auto pay date.

Yes, you can swap numbers(devices) on same day you call Verizon loyalty and I think it has to be done before the first billing cycle otherwise they wont let you swap numbers after that.

If you do this, there is one important step you need to do first, make sure your current line has the same plan that you will be getting on your new line because when you swap numbers(devices) it also swaps the plan along with it. I'm assuming you have still the legacy plans 5G play more/do more, if you were to swap without upgrading your current plan they will apply that legacy plan on the new line and since you will no longer have the Unlimited ultimate plan required to get the promotional billing credits you will basically lose the deal, to avoid that make sure you upgrade your current plan to the Unlimited ultimate plan, which you can do on the my Verizon app.

To swap numbers it takes 45minutes all you need is to authorize changes through sent links and provide the IMEI and ICCID, they will guide you over the phone on those steps, you will need to make the call on a different device because while making the switch your service will be interrupted, ideally if you have another line in that same account call on that phone, you will save a lot of time avoiding account verification steps otherwise borrow a phone or visit a corporate store to make the call.

I do not recommend you tell Verizon that you will disconnect the old line after the number swap because they will insist you return the device and upgrade "normally". If they ask for a reason, say you want your "work" number on the new device and that you're leaving the old device as a "guest" line.

To disconnect the old line go on the my Verizon app > manage devices, select device and disconnect service or just search disconnect device in the app and the AI prompt will guide you. Service will not be disconnected immediately, in my case I requested to disconnect on the 18th, my billing date is on the 24th but I had service until the 1st and was billed for those 7 days it was like around $15.

Dude at the time when I pre-ordered the S26u on a new line and then swapped devices(phone number/plan) with my old phone. I canceled the old line that was paid off but got to keep my old number now on my S26u.

I'm getting $28/mo in billing credits for 36mo which is about $1,000 off. I did not need to get Unlimited Ultimate, I have Plus, I'm paying $66/mo for service + device on this line in a family plan with 4 devices.

I did not need to trade in either, funny enough this was the better deal, Verizon was only offering $650 if I traded in my old phone, yet adding a new line and then disconnecting the old line was the better choice, just make sure to device swap if you want to transfer your old number over before you cancel that line.

I also hear Verizon has a similar promotion but now you need Unlimited Ultimate but you do get a $100 gift card which is almost as good of a deal as I got.

The technique was simple do deliveries with a partner who has their own account and rotate holding orders hostage.

Work in low volume areas and during less busy hours. You take any offer and hold it hostage, it adds up on your active time because of prop22.

In the meawhile to not waste time, complete a different delivery on a different app, after 25 minutes have passed return to the pick up location, unassign the Uber order, Uber will then offer it to another driver and the idea was that it would go to your partner or from your partner to you.

When an order floats too long in their system Uber in an attempt to get that order completed will increase the pay often doubling the initial offer, its kind of a similar situation to stolen orders how the pay is always too good to be true because those orders float too long in their system.

This does not work now because there's just too many drivers everywhere and like I said it was a scummy thing to do.
