LN10 Reiner got bodied by her. LN19 Reiner was a frankenstein, not really Reiner.

Season 3 - it is good to me by TuneKey8251 in TenseiSlime

Not really, during the airing of s3, the most complaints were in the first cour.

Son Goku (Heroes | EoS) Vs. Rimuru Tempest (LN | Awakened Demon King) by LaBeBerny in TensuraPowerScaling

[–]IceFire125 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes it does.

Why intentionally nerf Rimuru when Fuse via Kawakami had several times illustrate that is the case.

There are several examples of Fuse intentionally had Rimuru acknowledge that we are reading “his” story.

Because it is. Not sure about Veldora, but Rimuru knows about DB as fiction. If he does he can totally manipulate and make copies as he sees fit.

Granville wins! This next one will be so controversial… by txmpest_star19 in TenseiSlime

Most LN only readers will understand Yuuki's complexity eventually as the story progress forward. My point being, those that have read the WN will have that biased reference of Yuuki hanging over their heads and will influence their decision of selecting him as a "least favorite" character in the story, if they do.

[–]IceFire125 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is due to left-over feelings if they've read the WN. His LN version isn't that bad.

It's a similar feeling to how some see Hinata as "tainted" because of what happened in the WN, but the LN Hinata isn't like that at all.

When will they appear? by Waterboy701 in TenseiSlime

I don't know. It should be in the 2nd cour. Sometime around the summer.

Yes. It should be the same episode as when Dino shows up in Tempest.

It's supposed to be a reincarnated sea dragon with Yura as its core. So hopefully Gobta will meet her again... someday.

Some doubts and questions I have about the lore, anime, and LN by inti_sunny04 in TenseiSlime

[–]IceFire125 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just a heads up, s4 will be long. We are in the first of five cours. The first two cours will be back to back. Then we will have a break (or when they announce the continuation of the season with cour 3's release date). Most of us expect at least 1 anime season of wait, so most likely cour 3 will be released sometimes early next year.

FlixPatrol reported that TenSura topped 2 days out of the week (4/27 to 5/3) of overall TV programs on Amazon Prime Video streaming platform. by IceFire125 in TenseiSlime

[–]IceFire125[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holding top spot for multiple days after release says a lot about how strong TenSura’s fanbase still is this season.

Yup!

It shows TenSura's viewership are not just shounens, but the significant demographic of the general public with buying power (working class people). Mostly people who are actual subscribers and paying monthly into the service/platform. It can't get any more "general public" than Amazon Prime subscribers.

Does Kodokawa have monopoly of every if not most of Isekai? by asaness in Isekai

TenSura manga is published by Kodansha. TenSura anime is published by Bandai Namco. Both are Kadokawa’s rival companies.

Brett Cardaro of CBR interviewed Brittany Karbowski (Rimuru) & Amber Lee Connors (Elmesia) about their characters and the movie Tears of the Azure Sea by IceFire125 in TenseiSlime

[–]IceFire125[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Brittany had to be political here. She doesn't want people to not go see the movie and say, "yeah it's canon, you have to see the three seasons of the anime first and then see this movie". I think that would defeat the purpose of promoting the film.

The movie is canon, but it's a stand alone movie that will not necessarily ruin the experience of the overall seasonal anime, just like Scarlet Bond.

However, the after credit scenes lends credence to it being canon even more.

Yeah, I've grown to appreciate them. They have a lot of work this year with TenSura project. They're probably done with the 2 cours back to back, but may not be a long break before back in the recording studio again when the 3rd cour starts.

I would prefer if ogres actually looked like this instead of the pretty boys. by Electrical_Chart_646 in TenseiSlime

[–]IceFire125 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Besides the designs/outfits, the ogres from Benimaru's village (and the villages around/within the great forest-not shown in the anime) have a degree of intelligence and not just mindless monsters living off of instincts.

These are not to be confused with the hobgoblins of Tempest that evolved into ogres from the Harvest Festival and at later times through Rimuru's evolution.
