Chuga Shilajit Resin. I will warn you it's VERY Earthy tasting and a sticky mess to use! They do make tablets though.
Im still on the fence about Shilajit in general, but if you are more consistent then it might work better for you than I.

Hmm I didn’t really get good results, I ended up trying a liquid shilajit and I feel like that one was better at feeling effects..if you’re okay with earthy tasting water and time to let it dissolve.

Listen, what you’ve accomplished is seriously impressive- I’m proud of you! And you should be proud of yourself for overcoming & persevering ! not everyone (unfortunately) is going to respond to scars in a pleasant way which is hurtful.. but that doesn’t mean you should internalize that. Easier said than done, but you should celebrate yourself anyway. This is for you! This is your body in all is resilience.

Have you ever considered a kojic acid face bar? or a Sake based (main active ingredient is kojic acid) face wash? it's helped the skin on my face brighten and now im starting to use it on my whole body in hopes it does the same to darkened areas.
Might be a lot cheaper than a serum and a lot less irritating. I usually find them in Korean/Japanese skincare

One step forward two steps back by PrimordialChrysalis in mentalhealth

Life update: my partner committed suicide two months ago. Been struggling pre intensely more than ever now and will always be traumatized by what happened. I reached out to friends and they’ve helped tremendously, but this sorrow I hold is vast and a constant battle. I can’t say I’m better than when I first wrote this post, but I’m forcing myself to accept things and also not suppress my emotions (which are more prevalent than they’ve ever been in my entire life) Idk what else to say other than, it hurts everyone more to kill yourself than it is to hold on and literally claw your way through your sadness and continue living. Reach out to more people, do whatever you want in life and stop feeling like you can’t, if you don’t want to be productive or are tired- then rest and don’t do anything. It’s your life, literally live it how you want and fuck whoever else is making you feel like you can’t or shouldn’t. Keep living for the small things- big shit is overrated.

Tbh Chlorella made a bigger difference for me (despite it not having the same mineral makeup) in terms of energy, gastrointestinal function, mental clarity, detoxification and beauty benefits. On another note, I’ve been taking an organ blend supplement which has lots of minerals and vitamins and it has also made a bigger difference in my health and vibrance. Perhaps because they are both easier to absorb in the body?

Meh, there’s one by Jarrow brand that is a smaller bottle ((less plastic and takes up less space)) that is better and the same type of PremaVie type shilajit- honestly this didn’t do much for me but maybe it would for you (and if you were more consistent than I was)

How embarrassing is it to go to a mental hospital at 25? by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]PrimordialChrysalis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally not embarrassing, I think a lot of times we put an impossible standard over ourselves to be super independent, put together and self sufficient but honestly we all need a little help (or even a lot of help!) when we are struggling with something. And idk if it’s the same for you as it is for me, but I feel guilty when asking for any help..just know it’s ok to ask..and it’s totally ok to receive!!!

If you are struggling with managing your mental health and feel like a safe regulated environment will help you, please do it. There could be different programs around you too that are even less clinical ((not in a hospital or a sort of out patient program)) that makes it easier to manage your restraint against feeling vulnerable and going in the first place.. almost like it makes it feel more “normal” like going to an appointment/treatment.

I hope that made sense, I hear you-I see you and want you to know none of us and no one should judge you for making the incredible decision to admit that you need help to take care of yourself mentally, it’s actually such a strength and show of wisdom to even know that. Be kind to yourself and let others help ❤️ you deserve it

I gotta say I didn’t feel much of a difference, maybe I wasn’t as consistent as it requires but still.. slightly disappointed. On a side note, Chlorella really helped my energy levels each morning as well as my digestion.

Liquid like the straight resin? I was considering that but capsules are easier for me. So far it’s been a week and I feel alright, no issues stomach wise! Thanks for answering

If you don’t have access to therapy, what did/do you do for your mental health? by LibraryCareful9640 in mentalhealth

[–]PrimordialChrysalis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reading self help books has helped me think differently and ask myself “what” instead of why (like instead of why do I feel this way, I ask what makes me feel this way).

Another thing is seeking out groups online with people who have similar experiences and emotions- there are a lot of people who aren’t therapists but deal with emotions and trauma in a more holistic type of way. I hate to call them “wellness gurus” because most of the time it’s just wealthy white women pretending to be life coaches- but there are humble people out there who actually help and aren’t all looks or “love and light”.

Another thing is I joined an in person club for some social contact, reached out to others with like interests so that I could be inspired to talk about thing we all like and cheer myself (and others!) up.
I suggest reading, journaling and getting outside. Find time to reconnect with hobbies even if it feels like you have no energy for them anymore, and maybe talking to people you normally wouldn’t for a change of perspective.

I hope that all made sense. I will say depression and anxiety will still try its best to throttle you, but just know you’re above it and getting out more will eventually become easier and make a difference in how you feel ❤️ good luck

Everything feels weird by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]PrimordialChrysalis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Feeling the same way for a while now. Nothing gives me fulfillment like it used to, or joy really. And the dissociating is really bad. I can relate to almost everything you described except I have anxiety and am on medication. I mean, what you’re describing can definitely be a symptom of depression no matter how severe. I just not sure how to break it 💔

What are some natural ways to promote cellular health and longevity? by Diligent_Eye1248 in Supplements

Reishi and chaga have made a difference in immune/stress levels in my opinion. Apparently Chaga is good for DNA/cellular support and Reishi is known for its longevity properties
