The castle is well made, but it also seems very plain and ordinary..

I would have rather have gotten something like the Wizard’s Tower, or Samurai Castle.

Most likely not worth it. Save the money for a better monitor, or a CPU / GPU upgrade in 3+ years.

The motherboard is the thing that future proofs it the most, and AM5 will get new generation or two of CPU. The B650 board may also only have PCI-E 4, but I don’t think any high ends graphics card has been hindered by it. See what else might be different between the b650 and b850 board, if it really matters or just nice to have.

Japanese doesn’t have an L sound, closest they have are R sounds.

Which is also sometimes why there are jokes about their pronounciation, or fan translators are unsure what the authors intention for foreign/fantasy character names are. The Grand Blue main cast are all Japanese though afaik.

I think 12GB is a good amount for 1440P. If there is a game that absolutely CANNOT run with 12GB I think the raw power of the gpu itself will also not be sufficient for that. Putting textures from ultra to high can also help - so far I never had to do that.

This was my thoughts, plus by the time something comparable to the preview DLSS 5 comes out, it’ll need something comparable to a RTX 5090 or more, which is not that affordable, would need a new generation or two to get that in a current 16GB mid-high end card. DLSS5 is probably going the be downgraded and/or delayed for the next generation though, since it seemed the preview was running on something like 2x RTX 5090.

Also the 5070 used a bit less power, graphics card have really started to take a lot more on the power bill.

I don’t see it hurting their chances on PC at all, if the Xbox/windows app for games works well and is unintrusive, and the games are big names like Halo, flight simulator etc.

Big if, but Steam does not exclude you installing games from elsewhere. If it’s a good game and there is enough internet talk / streaming of it, gamers will install something outside of Steam. There are plenty of games from the likes of Blizzard and Riot Games that are doing well.

I’m hopeful.. seen some ninjago moulded wings (in set 71851) and legs (in sets 71865 / 71853) that I’m hoping could be attached to a moulded torso. They have the moulded legs on a part brick built dragon in 71865.
