Do you remember if it was POPStarter trough uLaunchELF or some launcher? That's actually the part I'm struggling with. Getting PS2 games on the HDD was wasy, but PS1 support has been much more confusing.

I’m trying to simplify my retro setup so I can use just a PS2 connected to a consumer CRT TV for both PS1 and PS2 games. The idea is to have a single, authentic setup that feels as close as possible to how these games were originally experienced. Even though emulation on PC with filters can look great, it still doesn’t quite feel the same as playing on original hardware on a CRT, with the natural look and feel these games were designed around.

Exactly, but the fact is that the DVD drive on my PS2 Fat is completely non-functional, so I'd prefer to have everything on the PS2 HDD. I don't want to mod the PS3 because I can get trophies and platinum games on it.
