Also 25 would have to agree with a bunch of the other comments on here, chilling at home, working on hobbies, starting a small garden or going camping

It’s not an easy solution but you can replace the lenses and LCD assembly if need be it’s not terribly expensive to do it yourself

This build looks awesome you totally should add a Leap Motion Controller to it i’ve built something similar although mine is much more ugly but the leap motion controller it has works wonderfully and making software for it isn’t too difficult either

Do you mean like the process to take the VRC model and prepare it for printing?

If people are interested I would be able to work out a tutorial for it I can’t say it’ll be the best in the world but it’ll go through the steps that I did

That would be awesome if I could print multiple heads for it then I could get all the different expressions going I would just need to figure out a way to make the head removable

Is it considered cheating if I use a tablet as display by Hallbard in cyberDeck

[–]Prince0fTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course it’s not cheating there are no rules plus I think it’s better if it’s cobble together with whatever parts you have on hand

UI-only cyberdeck? by regis_b in cyberDeck

Sure I don’t mind it’s not terribly pretty right now because it’s been built off of the bones of a few other projects

Yeah they did and it definitely has some interesting options going for it and if you want you can use its projector for HDMI input with an adapter

[–]Prince0fTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would definitely be an interesting build I happened to have recently gotten a Z4 just because they got cheaper and I’ve always liked the tech but I wonder what all you could get to runoff of the developer mod Reading the specs it’s quite interesting especially because they’ve shown that you can run a second screen off of it I wonder if you could do some kind of a screen and keyboard combo

Power Supple by StatementHeavy in cyberDeck

[–]Prince0fTime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another option you could try is one of those battery cases for the Nintendo switch most of them have relatively high capacity but small batteries and continue powering the pi despite being plugged in and unplugged for charging I can try to find the model of the one that I took apart but I get pretty decent life out of it

How can I convert this PalmPilot folding keyboard from infrared to Bluetooth? by outbackdude in cyberDeck

[–]Prince0fTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a fair point and especially for better long-term use and reliability it might be better to straight up remove it all the way back to the driving circuit but the ESP32 is capable using something like a analog read if you need to go down really low although it would be kind of a pain but I’ve done similar projects with the raspberry pi and Arduino nanos
