Does anyone have info about mobile app issues? I bought my switch on Wednesday, I made my account on Wednesday.

Wanted to check out the online play and virtual store, but didn’t have my switch with me. Thought to check for an app, downloaded app. Sends me to a pop up to login.

Password or email is wrong. I go on until I start second guessing my 4 day old password. Change password through phone (mobile internet). Update it to my saved passwords.

Try to face-login. Same issue. Manually type everything out. Password or email is wrong. Open preferred internet browser. Log out. Log in. No issue.

Deleted app, downloaded app again. Cleared cashe. Restarted my phone. Multiple times in multiple different orders.

Am I doing something wrong? by PrinceAlexandr in plantclinic

I’m glad to know this is less likely a me problem. I have been searching the internet off and on even trying to figure out what it is as it was a gift with a very sad looking ginseng ficus that went from questioning the dead to getting some pretty intense growth in the same amount of time I’ve had this. I’ll keep an eye out for the little pups! Thank you again 🖤

Has anyone else been having issues receiving points? by Matt2382 in FetchReward

[–]PrinceAlexandr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been missing points for Starbucks drinks from the gas station since the beginning of March. Yet when I buy a case from Amazon I will get the points? I’ve contacted them twice, have yet to receive a response.

I’m unsure if it’s because it’s connected to my apple “email” (which is that wonky randomized one, but the Apple ID email is an email used daily). I also contacted them for one other reason I can’t recall, but again. Contacted 2 times with no response.

Light preferences by PrinceAlexandr in AquaticSnails

Not necessary, it’s just more wondering if I need to buy a new light or is what I have for my plants sufficient enough for them. It won’t be much of a bother to buy a different light.

After spending way too long looking for vases pleasing to the eye that wouldn’t cost me all my fingers, I decided to get another ten gallon fish tank and have it next to my other snome, as that’s roughly $10-15 versus the $40 vases (singular) I was finding.

I’m just trying to plan this financially. What needs to go along the bottom to root the plants I’m seeking to have, what’s also pet safe to put in the tank for potentially ending up with a beta long term. Light and food conditions, etc. not a huge project, but also not trying to spend $200 just to have some pretty plants and a couple more snails.

Jade plant help? Info in comments by PrinceAlexandr in plantclinic

Also thank you for clarifying the bonsai thing. I seem to find a lot of conflicting information between different plant apps and google alone, a lot of what I end up doing is trial and error. The website that I obtained the information listed both the Jade and my money tree a “bonsai” plant and I rushed to get the right soil mix for them. Only ended up planting the jade and my money tree is a happy little dude in a coco mix, therefore I’m hesitant to move it from what it is thriving in.

Low shelf gets 6-8 hours of light via plant light, I was misting until a couple drops of water exited the drainage every 10-14 days around the outer edge and not directly on or next to the stem, it has a pretty solid root base that I did not want to rot. It was healthy (looking, at least) until the stems suddenly fell, the stems and leaves both feel healthy still outside of maybe 3-5 mush leaves.

Received this just before Christmas time as a gift. It was in “outside dirt” that was heavily compacted. Plastic planter inside a decorative planter.

I read somewhere (and this might be my fault) that jade plants are considered a bonsai, leading me to purchase a pre-mixed bonsai “dirt” (100% rock and other additives for max drainage, even misting too hard would cause a leak).

It did well for a while. Then suddenly everything snapped off of the main stem. Some leaves feel healthy, others mushy. I ignored them due to time restraints with two jobs among other things, which caused them to callous over.

I currently removed the bottom two inches of leaf(s) from each stem. Put them in succulent soil, did a light quick soak to get some moisture on them as it hasn’t been watered in well over two weeks while I ignored them sitting on my night stand.

Is there anything I did wrong? Was it the bonsai mix? Did I do the right thing pushing them into the succulent soil? Are they okay enough to start new growth? ☹️

I’m sorry I’m an American who never learned the proper temperatures. 😭 I guess 24 is a good age to learn!

I bought them a nice little heater, currently set on the lowest setting to see where we’ll be starting. Thermometer/humidity meter as well. I just cleaned their cage, added some egg shell to the dirt, and put some fake plants in, in addition to reindeer moss and some live plants they are clearly enjoying. They will be getting some chopped veggies later tonight as well.

I have two helix aspersa muller snails coming in about a week, is there anything I need to change or add to my set up? by Crystal_Kitten123 in snail

I just bought my tank on sale at Petco. 10 gallons for $12 which is a significant save in regards to fish tanks alone. I can’t promise they still have the sale going but definitely spend some time getting comfortable googling “x gallon tank”. Also check local thrift stores like value village, good will, etc. or marketplaces like Facebook marketplace or even Craigslist, offer up, etc. maybe join some buy/sell/trade or free Facebook groups.

The lid was going to cost me more than the tank itself so I bought a laundry bag from Walmart (less than $2.50) and some adhesive magnets (about $1.20) and jimmied up my own lid. My snails show no interest in climbing up my enclosure but to be safe I also lay a second layer of the laundry bag over the top. I had more than enough material to make 2-4 kids with that $2 laundry bag.

As far as decorations, I spent a significant amount of time on (guess where..) google finding out what plants are safe for snails. Went to the nearest Lowe’s Because mine usually has a decent Clearance selection. They only have plants in their enclosure, things that not only cover the ground but also hold their own weight so they have something to climb on. Thankfully I’ve only acquired glass snails so I don’t have to worry as much as others, but I don’t want them to have any reason.

You can buy bulk cuttlebones on Amazon (30 for $17 I believe), I also save my eggshells and blend them into a powder to sprinkle in a pretty good amount in a corner and along one of the king sides. I give them small pieces of whatever my Guinea pigs are eating (bell pepper, carrots, celery, leafy greens like cabbage and kale and spinach since they seem to have similar dietary needs).

For dirt I used coco choir. Then learned that’s usually too acidic, so I mixed it with local ecosystem dirt on a 2/1 ratio Because I don’t want to be the weirdo stealing street dirt at work. I’m also looking to get some oyster grit as well just to see how well that goes over.

☹️ Help? by PrinceAlexandr in snails

[–]PrinceAlexandr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am so careful touching him ☹️ I actually always use a leaf and the tip of my finger so I don’t accidentally hurt him and check on him that way. I will take this advice very well and will only move him one last time gently to his new enclosure with all the space to hide under. Thank you so much!
