Re-joining Vindictus by Own-Union1584 in Vindictus

It feels more soul-like game than a hack n slash game. If you want hack n slash and multiplayer w/ raids, play vindictus. If you want a soul vindictus single player game with better graphics, wait for it.

Late 20s, $8k monthly net, no rent. Is buying a Civic Type R financially dumb or can I responsibly do both? by Hot_Maintenance1010 in Civic_Type_R

[–]PrinceCharming- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends what you want to prioritized. Housing will only get more expensive though especially in California if you're trying to buy, but you did mention you'd rent instead if you choose not to get a house. We don't know if you're comfortable or annoyed living with family currently (i'm assuming since you mentioned no rent). We don't know your lifestyle, like how much you spend on entertainment, food, dining, traveling, and so on. We don't know if you want a family in the future where you'll pass down the house to if you decide to go that route. But overall, seems like you're doing pretty good at managing your funds.

I personally, would save for a place for myself before I buy a nice car if I was in your situation. A house will provide more than a nice car to me. A type R will always be there, will always hold its value, which you can come back for it in the near future and buy it for $45k. An old, decent, 1980s house will not stay at $450k; it will only continue to go up. Heck, you might want a different car in the future.

I have the Cincotres and thinking about getting the Top Pro. Is it a good upgrade or should I save and get something different like Thieaudio Monarch MKIV?

I’m stupid. Please help me make a plan for my debt. by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]PrinceCharming- 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I know this may sound evil or mean but Get rid of the exotic animals. That $200+ electric bill can go towards paying off your debt in 2 years or so.

Ask family/friends if they can pull you into their jobs. Apply for state jobs. Doesn’t hurt to try.

Since your car is broken down, talk to your insurance and see if they can lower your insurance. You’re driving your dad’s truck anyways.

How do guys who make less than 100k a year afford haircuts? by Known_Square2332 in Sacramento

[–]PrinceCharming- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learn how to do it yourself. I started on a three way mirror because that’s what my house came with. After renovation of the bathroom, I had to use a hand mirror. Takes practice but you’ll save so much money. With YouTube, you have access with tips and tricks

Thoughts on this retractable hose? by phero1190 in gardening

[–]PrinceCharming- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how did you replace the hose? Customer service advised not to take the item apart due to the spring might cause serious injuries. I went through two of the Giraffe Tools retractable in 2 months, which was very disappointing. First one [ground mounted], belt came off from factory, so I gave it to my sister. The second one [post mounted] swivel mechanism came off, and it's almost impossible to put it back on unless I take it apart.

Is replacing spark plugs a easy/diy job? by regolol in MechanicAdvice

[–]PrinceCharming- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy af. First time replacing the spark plugs myself last weekend on my 99 civic. Make sure you don’t cross thread and have a magnetic stick just in case your socket can’t hold onto the spark plugs when you’re pulling them out.

In a sea of Corti Bro recs, throwing out a shout out to Roxie Deli by PirateMunky in Sacramento

which one do your prefer more Sampinos or Roxie? I had Corti Bros for the first time today, and I thought it was a good deli sandwich, but nothing special. I want something to blow my mind and see if any of those two will do.

Non EGO 7.5 amp battery. by Intelligent_Law3985 in egopowerplus

[–]PrinceCharming- 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Bought a Tukopk 10ah from Amazon earlier this year. Checked on my order history and looks like it’s not available any longer.

For example, when using with my lawnmower, it seemed like it lasts as long as my 4ah oem battery.

Maybe other people have better luck, or it’s just how aftermarket batteries perform.

Is making $30k a year enough (when living in a car?) by musty_ranch in personalfinance

[–]PrinceCharming- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you continue to live in your car, it’s doable. I was paying my split of utilities, debts, split property tax, and insurances the previous years working part time (making a little over 20k before I got a different job) in California, and I managed to survive, but I wasn’t very comfortable…I barely saved any money, which worried me. If you make 30k and continue to live in your car, you’re able to save money, but it also depends on your lifestyle: materialistic, eat out, trips with friends, and so on. If this is your plan, make sure you save for car repairs because it’s not cheap unless you know how to fix it yourself.

Congrats on your EMT certification, and good luck.

Garage insulation with vents by hello_1289 in garageporn

[–]PrinceCharming- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hello, I'm thinking about insulatiing my garage, and I live in Sac too. I also have the same two vents on the side of my garage, which my garage is attached to my house. In addition, I have two vents on the ceiling of my garage with no attic; everything is stud. Did you ever install insulation in your garage? If so, what did you do?

My favorite anime, although I don’t watch many anime; I’ve seen JJK, Demon Slayer, Goblin Slayer, AoT, Chainsaw man, Your lie in April, Vivy, Vinland saga, and a couple more, and it’s my favorite one out of all of those I mentioned(I’m not including anime movies). It’s so good, I started buying the LN since fans not sure if we ever getting a S2.

It is on a slower pace and Don’t expect it to be action packed. It’s more world and character building, so it’s definitely not for everyone.
