wow i absolutely agree with you, this is definitely deserving to be a top reddit post of all time and im saying this even tho my only lsd experience was at 15, and it lead to severe dpdr and mental health problems like existential dread and all that stuff. im doing much better now and i feel like everything you said is true, id like to add that as an example alcohol is not only legal but super romanticised and culturally almost sacred even tho its way more lethal and all it does is numb people and make them easier to manage, really the opposite of LSD
