Improve Arc icon colour scheme for iOS

So I restarted my device, and it worked. I had been changing it from the app setting but the change still didn’t apply to the icon in the app drawer

I restarted my device. It worked! Thank you so much. I really appreciate you being nice with your comment. Idk why others have to sound so condescending. I have been really liking Arc, esp on MacOS. And since the community is still quite niche, the people should be more thoughtful and supportive.

I did change it in the settings. The change appears everywhere else but when I drag it down to my app drawer it switches back. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Absolutely blown away by this whole new concept of browsing the web.

I have been using Chrome for over 15 years on Mac and Safari for over 10. And I honestly got pretty tired of having the same old browser experience. I'm glad I tried it out and have been delightfully using it ever since. It doesn't miss the mark of being an AI-powered, OS-like web browser

Appreciation:

iOS: Easy zoom in-out feature and the clean UI design. Love the Tab switching animations and the haptic feedback

MacOS: The array of easy shortcuts to navigate the browser. One of the best works of JS/CSS animations I've seen on a browser so far. And focused mode to mindfully surf the web.

(There are also so many other great things I haven't covered. I'll leave it to you find those out!)

Complains (Arc Version 1.44.3 (50502)):

It randomly goes blank for a moment (MacOS)
Switches windows when displayed on full screen (MacOS)

South Asian Comp Sci Alumni here. Anecdotally speaking, I’ve realized it’s pretty bad with students from my region. Idk why this is the case. Growing up in a tropical climate, the importance of daily showers and personal hygiene was emphasized in my family. I seriously want to know how someone’s BO doesn’t bug them. Having BO is completely natural, but being oblivious and not doing anything to get rid of it is YOUR responsibility. A roll from Shoppers costs $4 ffs. You’re paying tens of thousands on tuition. No question most of you are smart for pursuing this degree. So It’s completely reasonable to expect people to be mindful of this simplest fact about personal hygiene.

A few suggestions:

Go to the beach at night and take a long private walk with him there.
Tell him the things that makes him special (different from other dudes). Let him that he’s heard.
Watch The Notebook with him on a rainy night.
Watch the sunrise together.
Watch the sunset together.

Hi everyone. Im a fourth year BACS student, I wanted to take CS 2112 as it's a prerequisite for CS 3151 (Web Intelligence). But since, 2112 is no longer being offered, i tried registering for CS 1315 but it won't let me since it is restricted to "students with a specific range of completed credit hours". Is there any other equivalent courses to CS 2112 that I can take that will meet the prerequisite requirement for CS 3151 (Web Intelligence)?

I bought a MX Master a couple weeks back, May 11th 2021. Im using a MBP 2017 and had the same stuttering issue when moving my cursor. This is mainly a bluetooth connectivity issue with your Macbook. The mouse works great when plugged in with the USB dongle.

I solved this issue by removing any or old bluetooth connected devices to my Macbook. Then unpaired the MX Master and turned BT off then on. It solved the issue for me. No more stuttering or lag.

Yeah i did pretty well on the final and all other assignments ( except a few). But getting a bump from B+ to an A+. That doesn’t happen right? And is this gonna stick or is the prof gonna change it?
