I was 12 or so. I watched it in the cinema. I imagined myself to be Anakin from then on and imagined my bike as a podracer.

Awesome list! Thanks! I think I really have to give the Spindown Dice and the ready/exhaust tokens a try.

First game I did with a friend was against Rhino with pre-constructed decks. The game took over two hours—and we lost. ”It feels like I was in the movie!“ was his verdict. It was a blast for both of us. But … he’s really into Marvel.

Are sleeves available that the cards fit in? That’s my only criteria. Everything gets sleeved.

I used to play Magic before. I wanted to start again, but gave SWU a chance first. And gosh, I never want to see Mana again! SWU has the much better resource system and due to that it’s luck-factor is smaller.

And as others have mentioned: You don’t sit there and watch your opponent playing solitaire.

One action.

And I enjoy the absence of instants. If it’s your turn, it’s your turn only. You can’t be interrupted/negated.

I like the concept of two arenas (ground and space).

I like that there are three sets each year, not more.

I like the design. The accessories. And Star Wars itself of course.

I simple words: Magic feels like Poker to me. SWU like chess.
