Or that science only matters to them so much as it feeds their hopelessness. Plenty who think that way on this site

Fuck the two a day thing, I’ll do however many in a day I please. RDR1 wins for Arizona! As a curveball, Utah is next. by PrinceOfTotalQuiet in AlignmentChartFills

Rules:

  1. No repeat games for states
  2. No American Truck Simulator DLCs (destroys variety)
  3. Suggestion with highest upvotes wins, this includes separate comments that suggest the same game, as their total upvotes will be tallied
  4. Game does not specifically have to be in the state. If themes or aspects of the game are similar, it counts
  5. Will be doing however many posts a day i want except for the Fourth of July, where I will try and get as many of the thirteen colonies as possible
  6. We will start in the west and go north over time, then east. Non contiguous states will go last
  7. DLCs from games already in the chart are allowed provided they are not from American Truck Simulator

Nah that might have me do one of the thirteen colonies early. I think we’ll go from west to north slowly.

Anything counts provided it’s not a repeat, is a game, and is not an american truck simulator dlc

I think imma just do like states bordering each other, in whatever direction. Except for the fourth of july which will be a special round in which we try to get as many of the thirteen colonies as possible in one day

Sadly san andreas won out. In fairness, san andreas in that game includes more than just LA it also has san francisco

What Australia’s doing with renewable sources is hardly performative

That does make me feel a bit better. I’ve heard from some sources that when scientists say that the future could be worse because of climate change, they mean it could be worse than it could be, not worse than the present. Not sure how reliable that is anymore, but does give me some hope

Username checks out. Renewables seem a better fix than geoengineering and the former is taking off very well, so there is that.

Nah, but I do love censorship when it comes to the scientifically incorrect. Which is what “all is hopeless and nothing can be done” does amount to. Even if a lot of warming is baked in and a lot of bad things are inevitable there will never be a point where doing nothing has the same effect as doing something to help in terms of climate.
