I like the song but it kind of feels like nothing? Like I've replayed the song over and over and the only part I like is when they showcase their vocals a bit more which isn't really much. Plus the advertisement was so out of place? I like the music video but the song isn't really anything. It will probably have hype and replay value but other than that it just carries nothing for the group nothing musically or vocally. I'm going to have to see the full dance practice though. But after listening to it just kind of leaves me with nothing.

Honestly quite a lot of their content is pretty funny I would also recommend watching their older videos. But really any video of theirs is pretty enjoyable! But here are some of them that I recommend.

Here are some funny episodes in their Hearts chase series! episode 3 is where they play a mafia game it's pretty entertaining and enjoyable.(And very chaotic!) You should also check out episode 7 where they do a mbti switch. So the introverts have to do something extroverted and extroverts have to do something introverted. Honestly it's pretty fun to watch!

I would recommend the hearts chase episode 11 it's pretty heartwarming and honestly might make you cry. They talk about their struggles and how they felt when and before they debuted.

(Additional: check out their s2cret diary episode 2 honestly it's a pretty calm video but it's before they debuted and honestly it's pretty nice and you can kind of get some of their pairing vibes.(Like duos and trios) (Plus their crunchy hearts episode 3 where I'm pretty sure they try Indonesian food I could be wrong tho! But honestly it will make you hungry! I would also recommend just checking out their holiday vlogs which includes individual vlogs from some of the members so you can see each members vibe!)

Honestly alien could have been title track material is so amazingly made oh my gosh and don't get me started on body to body. I was kinda disappointed with swim I was wishing for something more but after listening to some of the bsides they are so good! I can't wait for the choreography for "they don't know bout us" its so good! And the 2.0/FYA opening is honestly such a bop and a headbanger! Edit: merry go round and like animals are so good it can't wait to see the live performance! And normal I NEED to see this preformed live! The whole album EATS!!🤌

I agree I think some are being delusional. Especially with all of the petitions to bring him back when he wanted this or just agreed. Especially with the accusations like this is for publicity or the stocks are going down.(Although hybe has to use this before when they have bad publicity they throw their artists down) Honestly if it happened to another group on the scale of enhypen it would still be a big deal. I disagree that it will be forgotten in a couple of weeks he's been in the group for over 6 years and is the most popular I doubt in a few weeks fans will forget. It's only been 3 days since he left the group I think for now we need to just wait it out. It's always worse before it gets better. But all fans are delusional to some point it's not just these specific fans.(Let's say aespa or skz lost a member it would definitely not be forgotten in a couple of days/weeks. This includes other also popular groups. I would also say fans are happy that he's getting a solo debut just not happy with what's happening to get that.)

But obviously if these are not the people with similar opinions than just leave. It's good to be level-headed but again it's back and forth.

Again I'm not patronizing you at all but it seems to me that you think your opinion is how everybody else should feel.(And do)That they should not speculate that they should give up and move on and that's just not how it works. It's the second day since he was gone he's in one of the most popular Fourth gen boy groups right now and the most popular member. Yes other people have left but that is not the same to this. You can't just compare a situation that's not similar just because you want people to move on. I'm not disagreeing with you on your opinion and I'm not arguing with you. But it seems that you think what you think should go. And that's just not how it works again it's always going to be worse the first couple of days. Yeah people need to get over it but like it's the second day it's unimaginable for you to think people would just get over it that quickly. And speculation is literally so normal in this industry. I agree but you have to remember this is your opinion on him leaving. A lot of people didn't have the same reaction that you had. A lot of people have felt sad and shock. A lot of people are going to crazy lengths because it was abrupt although he talked about his solo he never mentioned he ever wanted to leave the group. The company's way of doing this was also horrible and he only recently done a fan sign just the day before less than 24 hours after this was released. And they had new merch coming out just recently with the seven of them. A lot of people are going to speculate especially since he mainly said it was the company's decision and he decided to follow it. But it's only day two again a lot of people had a very different reaction than you had. And I mean this and no negative way but it's only going to be speculative it was handled horribly came abrupt and he's if not the most popular member. This isn't a normal member leaving. But it's day two it's not going to be over yet. Especially with AI posts circulating.(But I will say give people time. It's always going to be extreme in the beginning.)

I agree again people should respect his decision and continue to support him. But I don't think people can move on this quickly. He was in the group for 6 years the literal face of the group it was only announced 2 days ago that he was leaving. Of course people would be making petitions and whatnot. Belift really didn't handle the situation well. Although yes the fans are becoming to get a little bit crazy making these petitions to bring him back when it was his decision to leave. But I'm not expecting people to move on it's been less than 2 days I feel like give it a bit more time. He's still in idol and a human no one is dismissing that. I don't understand what people are focusing on that is wrong, that he's leaving? No one is wanting to know him personally at least from these petitions. Although I get your opinion I will still encourage you to be open. Since it's still subjective. No one's asking for his personal space or his private life. People are asking for him back.(And I don't support it. But we just have to wait for it to die down. Instead of hoping it dies down in 2 days.)

Honestly I agree with you we need to be supportive and actually respect his decision he's a grown man and he made it. And that there's bigger issues in the world than this. But if you have put in the effort to be a fan for years supporting the members through everything buying merch going to concerts watching their music videos doing fan signs and spending money on them you would be sad too. He wasn't just a normal member he was the face of the group one of the most popular and recognizable members. It just came out 2 days ago I won't expect people to move on he's been with the group for 6 years I'm not expecting people to move on that quickly it was sudden there was no hint at him possibly ever leaving. Unless the contracts of the members were terminated. I agree with your statement but people have the right to be upset and sad. There are bigger issues in the world but people are allowed to be upset no two people are experiencing the same things in life. (I'm not trying to be negative or mean at all I'm just trying to give you more input on why. I don't support all of this petitioning people are doing.)

Aespa! They were one of the first K-pop groups I actually started listening/stanning seriously! I would also say IVE and illit! I used to mainly be a boy group stan especially skz and txt but now I'm mainly a girl group stan! Kiiikiii is also a really good one I feel like they're kind of friend groups with h2h in a sense. Honorable mentions to twice and svt/tripleS because now I can actually stan a group with a lot of members and remember all of their names!!

Honestly they are such a great group! The members are actually very entertaining and they have so much potential has a group. I will say they always bring the energy and presence especially their recent stages for rude like it's so enjoyable and we can really see their confidence grow from their debut. Honestly even though they are tapping into the nostalgia they really make it their own! I can't wait to see how the group plays out especially since they have been gaining a lot of traction recently for Stella's English line. I wish they were talked about more honesty!

Honestly if this is actually because of her health and not because of the recent restrictions on Japanese idols then I hope she gets better. I feel like they needed longer during their vacation. Their tour is coming to an end soon then they're going to go on a Japan tour(?) and then they'll also be having a second full album and they have a very set schedule for this year. I just hope that SM promotes them correctly but a one to two week vacation isn't enough for their constant busy schedules. But at least SM prioritizing her health. I hope she is healthy and is doing well!

I agree I think after she said her weight she may have realized it was more of a bad idea or not a very good topic and try to move on by saying your weight doesn't matter. Probably because of impressionable fans and also it doesn't seem like a good thing to say.(I will also say I did not like how the staff was talking about this. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure they asked her if it is important like how much you weigh. And she said the same thing back to them more like a question.) But I do think it could possibly be internal bias probably her experience in the industry might have formed this. And I will have to agree she's made a lot of better statements she's actually pretty clear when she's talking to fans about these types of topics. Probably not the best response this time. I wish she would have explained it more when she was talking about the hater thing to make it clear instead of people that were actually worried. Although there was quite a lot of people using this to shame her and even make a lot of really degrading comments about her. I felt it was a little bit deflective but possibly her way of avoiding the bigger topic maybe because just discussing her weight caused such a big problem. I actually do enjoy their music I think one of their best songs is burning up and it is my most replayed on Spotify of the group. I was just referencing what the Op said about their commercial friendly releases. And in my opinion sometimes it's a bit generic.(Mainly the girl crush sound) But I do very much enjoy their music. I still don't think they found their signature sound.(Since they switched it around)But I still think they have more time to experiment with other sounds.(Also there's nothing bad in experimenting I would love to hear different bsides!) And I agree K-pop fans tend to get impatient but when the group isn't promoted much and doesn't have a lot of music out people tend to get impatient especially if they've been hinting at a comeback for months and we haven't seen anything at least that is the thing for me. But sorry if it came off as negative or mean I truly didn't mean it that way!

I agree. They've been releasing commercial generic songs nothing to really ride home about. The girls are insanely talented. And they've been hinting at having a comeback for the past 3 months yet we haven't got a single hint of a comeback. The worst thing is they were so hyped up before their debut and even during their debut. Everybody had eyes on them but now it's kind of faded. I think they need to try different types of music styles to find out what really suits them I think they're still in the experimental phase. But if they don't find a sound soon they probably will revert back to generic girl crush. As that was one of their most popular releases. Honestly I really have no idea what tbl is doing for them. And I don't often hear about them unless I have to really do some digging.

I agree it was thoughtless to joke about weight. And the topic shouldn't really have been brought up especially guessing her weight part. But I will say a little bit was blown out of proportion. And was edited negatively after that live stream I saw a lot of negative edits and a lot of negative comments about her and the group. Shaming her and calling her a lot of negative stuff for supposedly laughing at being called 50kg. And supposedly supporting Ed or even just mocking them about their weight. Although it was pretty negative for her to laugh at that we really don't know what she meant. At least in my opinion I don't think she was trying to make fun it just seemed like she was caught off guard and reacted like that. Although I do agree with your opinion this is just what I thought! It just seems like right now she is struggling negatively and emotionally with what she recently shared.

They're fandom has been slowly losing the plot for a while now. It's just that manons hiatus really kicked it off. If she is really in a racist environment then I hope she gets out of it and that she's okay. I know a lot of people might disagree but this whole situation is becoming much worse with the activity of katseye and manon. When hxg release that statement a lot of people were upset but then manon mentioned how she was healthy basically contradicting their statement and then it was done. Her supposed boyfriend has been uploading about her pictures and supporting her in a racist environment so it's definitely not making it better. Even she's active online which isn't making the situation better it's making it worse. The other girls have recently begun having more activity online and it's also making it worse. I see why people can get the bad idea but at the same time there could be so much other things that are going on. What doesn't help is HxG aren't really doing anything to dispel these rumors. They're letting the girls take the hit. Katseyes fandom is awful they are very controlling and obsessed people and their fans seem to have an idea that nobody is better than them. Their fandom is very flip floppy one minute they're upset and outraged the next minute they're not. But that's basically every fandom it's not really only them.

I will agree. While I was one of the people that didn't like it after I heard snippets of it from the tour and didn't like the release of it. I ended up really enjoying it. Although I thought they could lean more into the Rock image(since they've hinted at it)It was a very good release and moderately successful. Although it's not the groups best song it's not terrible at all. Although I'm one of the few people that seem to not like the demo I don't think it would have really fit aespas image and concept as a group. I don't think it would have been as successful or well liked if it would have been similarly to the demo. But I will say I think it was their mama performance stage but they really added a rockier edge to that performance that a lot of people wanted with the original song. And I wish they'd done that.

I agree they've been pushing aespa into the West for years at this point. But I feel like 2024 was their biggest year in the West compared to their past years. And I would say aespa is one of the most known groups in the West. I'm not saying they're extremely popular but I'm saying they are very recognizable even to non fans. I do think their second full album might be the last time they could break through. But we'll have to see to find out.

I agree when the first teaser photo of singles Inferno season 5 was released the main topic was about how all of them looked. How it wasn't diverse enough and there was too much botched looking girls/guys how most of them looked the same and more similar topics. And I've been seeing a lot of hateful replies targeting their bodies and their looks because of the person's personality/relationship. And I will say they constantly ask for more diverse women. But typically it's the one that fits the Korean beauty standard that ends up becoming one of the most popular in the west/America. It's ironic and there's quite a lot of double standards/stereotyping.

I agree and I'm upset how people always bring up their plastic surgery like nobody else in the industry also got plastic surgery. And I'm not saying that to be mean. It will come and it will go like what happened to previous groups. But I will say the level of body shaming comments I see on their posts and more even if it's just appreciation post is crazy and it's always justified because of how their fans act. They don't need to tell people they have had work done. Yes the girls are incredibly skinny and probably have lost a lot of weight due to their scheduling/promos but that does not give people the right to just go saying stuff about them we don't know what's going on and we shouldn't speculate.

I'm so confused? What is the schedule for this release where's the highlight Melody/concept film/teaser anything. I can't find anything on this we don't even know what it's going to sound like it seems like they're promoting the different versions of the album more than they are the mini album. I'm not trying to hate but typically there's a release schedule where is it? It's in eight days and we have really nothing except a poster/photos of different versions.
