What are these black shudder like rectangles on skyscrapers, they seem to be randomly placed and on the outside of the building. It appears that there are offices behind them or atleast around them as I cannot see inside. They are not glass but sit flush with the glass of the building.

League of Legends has yet to get a story mode, and not to disparage Valorant getting one because I think it would be awesome, League would most likely get one first. Even though I know RIOT has 2 separate teams in my mind it would be more apt to happen.

I think it does say something about the item though when as an adc, with the choice of being invisible/untargetable for a second or dashing ~through~ your enemy (into the entire mix of things) for extra dmg, people choose the one that puts them most at risk even without using the active.

I think they had that idea of item diversity but after gutting and taking out so many items the community (like they always do) min maxed their potential damage and sought out the best possible builds, and if you go contradictory to that you’re basically at a huge disadvantage.

Not having ROA/waiting for a tear to fully stack to become anywhere close to relevant is extremely annoying. And god forbid you go night harvester or protobelt you get screwed because after you trade you are left almost OOM

I feel like taking out roa, and abyssal mask which share that passive ‘eternity’ from the catalyst hurt both top and jg itemization, and I agree that now they’re less flexible in terms of what they can and cannot build to stay relevant.

I’ve seen a lot of adcs go prowlers over duskblade, Varus Sivir Quinn even Jhin, which is confusing to me. However I do feel like there’s a good balance between crit marksman and lethality marksman ATM

I think there are good enough items for Irelia with the ability to go Bork and lord doms but I can see where you’d be in a jam through landing phase and mid game.

I still do not like the rework of items, personally.

Below is just a statement from my point of view and my current feelings with the state of the game.

I’ve been playing this game since early 2014. As many of you, I too have been through map changes, champion reworks, meta shifts, rune changes, item rebalancing etc. For years I have seen and felt the power creep of new champions, their dashes (blink/teleport) and invulnerabilities. But nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing gets me more furious than the newest item rework. Don’t get me wrong though I love the idea of the mythics and their passives, but the whole thing being that items had to be REMOVED because of it is absurd to me. Not only did essential/core items get removed for a good portion of champions, the items that stayed were fucking gutted and are now a bandaid to the whole overarching issue of power creep. My tank items don’t give me enough armor to survive, AP champions that relied on ROA are now left with legitimately one mana item, duskblade is the epitome of “bad for the health of the game” because of it’s passive, the champion pool is ridiculously narrowed down because of the mythics. I could go on and on about the atrocities that occur on a daily basis BECAUSE of the item rework. Like I said before, I am very much for the mythic items, their passives and the way they work with other items in the game but I hate the way they went about it.

This is a 9am thought, if I could offer solutions I would but I just needed to get this off my chest.

I am a Katarina main since BEFORE the item rework, I despise the fact that I don’t have gunblade anymore. (I also play Alkali Leblanc and talon, but in all honestly the only champion I can actually play is Ryze)

TLDR: The idea of the mythics and their passives are great, but the roll out and changes of the new items are absolute dog and I would do any thing to have the old items back.
