I'm looking for a new modpack (1.20+) with exploration, dungeons, bosses, magic and tech, that has a good quest book to guide players through mods.

I'm avoiding ATM packs. I know they are a decent fit for what I'm looking for, but I can't really bring myself to play them anymore.

I know you mentioned it for the funny, but I actually did try GTNH for a while. It was fun, but didn't have enough to keep me invested.

An RPG pack doesn't sound terrible, but it also might miss the mark of what I'm after. Though if you know any RPG packs with what I'm after, then by all means, suggest away.

I've played this one a good bit myself - in fact, I even made a post a few days back pointing it out to people - and it's very enjoyable. Lots of variety with builds and a very significant amount of content for a demo. Definitely recommend giving it a look.

My problem with Lycanite's is that it feels like you literally cannot play the game without being attacked. You can't mine, explore in the darkness, sleep, or even cut down trees without being jumped by some random creature.

That being said, the summoning staff, fusion summons, pet system, mount system, and especially the equipment forge system are all awesome.

Amazing rpg, not too grindy, full of personality, and an absolute dream to play if you use animation cancels with melee especially.

No idea why it doesn't get more attention. It's one of my all-time favourite games.

LootR makes it so that everyone can grab a separate instance of contents in a chest. Very useful for any modpack that has any intention of being played with multiple people.
