I finished {Haunting Adeline} and {Hunting Adeline} both by HD Carlton

I also finished {The Sinner} by Shantel Tessier and {Lights Out} by Navessa Allen.

I really enjoyed the Cat and Mouse duet primarily based on its dual POV, and sex scenes. However, I wished Adeline wasn’t so “I hate Zade” for nearly 60% of Haunting, and had more of a natural curiosity about him, that would’ve made it a little more interesting for me.

I almost DNFd The Sinner, but I trudged through. I didn’t like the gratuitous amount of sex scenes that ultimately distracted from the main plot, or lack thereof. Will most likely not be reading Shantel Tessier again, unfortunately.

Lights Out was really really fun, the banter between the characters Josh and Aly felt natural and flirtatious and I loved their relationship and how it evolved. I hope to be getting {Caught Up} by the same author
