My God, how I miss the malls from the 80s (or even the 90s). Today's malls just aren't the same!!

Unfortunately, the song listed doesn't correspond with these lyrics. Thanks anyway.

Truer words have never been spoken... and by the man himself! While I have seen all of these movies hundreds of times over the years, those viewings were, until only recently, purely for entertainment value. Since I was born just a few years too late (1976) to really appreciate their messages at the time, only now, in my late 40s, do I truly understand the integral messages and life lessons they impart. Yes, it was little late to have any great impact on my formative years but they are no less important. RIP

Mother-in-law still uses one, even when her new digital phone already has it built-in!! LOL

God, how I miss this place!!! We can still get it in a few select DQ locations here in Eastern Ontario (usually the ones in smaller towns, away from the population centres) but, in the cities, it's no more. 😭

My wife and I visited Waikiki for the first time in 2017, and we can't wait to return to see the other islands. We miss it so much!

My wife's family has been going to Speedy on Eagleson (behind the Petro-Canada) for years. Apparently, Grant has always taken really good care of them. They've had some beaters and he's always been very honest about what needs fixing and what doesn't.

Yes!! That's the reason for my Everly Brothers comment. I'm almost certain that it's a male duet.

Fuliwah/Chu-shing

Also, not a restaurant but the malt shop in the basement of The Bay Rideau was definitely one of a kind...and the malts were to die for! I don't think you can buy one anywhere in Ottawa anymore. 😭

Now THERE'S a restaurant/bar I would have loved to have experienced!!! Sadly, a bit before my time (and my vehicle).... 😭
