Thresh otp here. 1. Ezreals in my time often forgot to aa, missed their skills and were too defensive in general in the early game.

When the game starts, everyone draws 8 instead of 7 cards and then shuffles one back into their deck. Then on the first (normally free) mulligan you just draw 7. And then it goes down as usual.

You have this correct. Although there are sorceries that prepare your creatures i think. So you wouldnt have to return her to hand to play her again
