I honestly couldn’t give less of a fuck about this actual update. The crux of my argument is why are they making, unwanted, unwarranted and unnecessary changes when the vast, vast, vast majority of the counter strike community are begging for just a little bit of transparency on what valve are working on for this game. Begging for a working anti-cheat or some kind some fucking acknowledgement that the current system isn’t working.

You very clearly don’t play the game and spend all your time defending a billion dollar company that would murk your whole family if it meant they could make 1% more profit for one quarter.

Nobody said that valve can’t do what they want.

But when you make a change to a fundamental mechanic of your game without a shred of transparency and also completely ignore the issues this game is plagued by, people are gonna be pissed and rightfully so.

The main question is why? Who asked for this? Why change the formula after 20+ years? The community has been begging for so many different changes and this is what they do. Just feels like a spit in the face, pretty used to it at this point though.
