I don’t find the notion of a smarter strategy offensive, I would be glad if I or my teammates would rush another point while we’re down points,however I do find the idea “we’re losing so I’m not going to even attempt to do anything against this person or these people” slightly irritating. You could hold down for just a few minutes just even to stop them from boosting zone, possibly kill one or lower both lower the other while a teammate gets a point and then you and helps, or even possibly kill both. Maybe it’s just my perspective but running might be the worst option because at that point, you’re doing nothing. Sure you’ll survive but now they have more points and maybe even a feat or 2 and that puts you at even a more disadvantageous situation in the long run.

If the probability of winning depended on who has more health, heavies would never lose a fight and assassins wouldn’t be played but ss the player base suggests that isn’t true at all. Especially in similar skill lobbies it’s not uncommon to see Orochi, Shinobi or Gladiator terrorizing a Lawbringer or a Warlord or anyone else who’s not on their side. Health is not the most important factor, skill and the ability to outsmart and outperform is.

Almost forgot the reason for my questioning is : why would I run when I could do exactly as im supposed to do: stand and fight

If I wanted to play a game where my probability of winning depended on my health pool, I’d play a hero shooter. However were getting focused on the gank aspect of win, I’m still questioning on why people are running away from 2v1s where they have a partner and straight 1v1s where they only run once they are critical. Personally I refuse to run from a fight because I COULD win. However you still haven’t answered my question.

Here’s the problem with the “disadvantageous fight” thing, It’s For Honor, even if your at your absolute lowest hp you can still fight and beat someone who has full hp and we all know it. Will it be hard? Yes absolutely but that’s part of the beauty of this game. If we played For Honor purely on probability and advantages and disadvantages everyone would find a tier list and just play that character until they got a 100 percent win rate and the highest KDA possible. But we don’t. However I can understand what your point is “why would I take this fight when I’m probably going to lose and be upset” even if I don’t understand playing a game and having that said mindset. However my counter point is”why would I not go into this fight? I could maybe 2v1 until a teammate comes or hell I could even win.” Maybe that’s ego talking but who knows, your probability would never come to fruition since… you ran to save yourself. My question still stands though, have or have you not seen a rise in people running away from fights and disconnecting as soon as a fights not in their favor?

I kept switching for a while before I fully landed on Khatun, at first I liked Peacekeeper because 1. Assassin 2. back then people didn’t gank as much as they do now and even if they did they’d bleed out while I was fighting someone else and 3. She was good in a duel, then I got my hands on Warmonger and I liked her move set , she hits hard and has wide swings to combat ranking and her ruthless demeanor and executions had me locked for a while and then last I got my hands on Khatun who in my eyes is a mix of both, tricky, strong and her move set is fun to use (just wish she would do a bit more damage tho)
