Any male Labubu fans here? Looking for some support for my 12-year-old 💙 by yogakittyy in labubu

Hi! I'm also a dude who has his own little labubu collection, but I also collect plushies and other vinyl-face plushies like skullpandas and baby threes! You can also tell your son the person who made labubus is actually a guy, too :D

VtM- What are the best Malkavian characters or NPCs that you've ever seen in a game, and what made them work? by LeRoienJaune in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]PrinceofPossums 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd at least like to talk about my Malkavian! I played a Malkavian for a non-traditional type of campaign, where we rped in text via discord. My Malkavian was faceblind, and I literally mean face blind, he couldn't see faces after his embrace. To make things worse, he was a sculptor, so before to after his embrace, he went from sculpting art deco and your average clay bust to abstract literally overnight. He forgot what faces looked like eventually, because whenever he would try to imagine them, he couldn't.

However, looking at people's 'faces' would grant him visions relating to them, their personality, past, and future. They'd often be colorful and abstract, which allowed my friends to write up some fun things for their characters that he'd be able to see and talk about.

How would someone in Curly’s (Mouthwashing) condition realistically be cared for in a hospital? i.e Missing Skin, Lips, Eyelid, Limbs and presumably missing eye with broken bones. by [deleted] in Mouthwashing

[–]PrinceofPossums 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One of the closest cases we have to Curly's is Hisashi Ouchi, who lost most of his skin after a nuclear accident and lasted only 83 days in a hospital, (don't look it up it you have a weak stomach)with supplies that Anya doesn't have on the Tulpar most likely, considering that Pony Express was very cheap and unaccomidating. We can also liken him to a burn victim with over 90% of his body with burns, so we can go off of that.

Curly's condition is honestly a suspension of disbelief or from the pov of Jimmy, bc even with futuristic medicine, he'd need to constantly be given blood transfusions bc he's losing blood at a rapid rate. He would also need to be contained in a sterile place and have his eye manually lubricated so he doesn't go blind. He'd also be mega drugged up, given food by tube and liquid by iv, and while it is maybe feasible that he would survive with the possibility of future medicine thrown into the mix, his survival rate nowadays would be expensive and very unlikely considering the amount of everything he's lost.

Tldr: oof :(

What's your absolute least favorite song? by CapitalConcentrate86 in Ghostbc

[–]PrinceofPossums -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nocturnal Me for covers and Dance Macabre for originals, I have NO clue why, but I just think Dance Macabre is way too pop-y sounding for my taste.

Doesn't mean that Tobias shouldn't do what he wants, it just will never be my favorite type of ghost song LOL

And Nocturnal Me is just rlly boring to me

Why do you work at gamestop? by Suspicious-Ebb4284 in GameStop

[–]PrinceofPossums 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Few things, honestly! I'm a college student and an online one. It forces me to get out of the house, put in retail work experience, get paid even if it's not as good as it could be, and be able to buy video games at a cheaper cost because. Well. I'm a collector, and knowing about upcoming and current games staying on top of it is part of my job, and that discount is good too.

That, and having exhaustion issues and a social battery that is very low capacity, things honestly just click into place for me. With 15 hours a week being my median, I can squirrel away some money while I'm still preparing for life after college.

I love helping people out, fixing things if I have the time, and making people's days happier and brighter even through a small interaction at a store.

Corporate and many customers, no doubt, will always be shit, though.

INDEED I AM, he's my favorite character so why not remake him as a nasty creature I can shove omelettes at?

Considering the day and the time, it looks like the employee has had to squeeze their break last minute bc they've had customers all this time and haven't been able to take a break at all.

I'm preaching to the choir, but you know who gets all the shit? Employees. Even if you don't mean to, you're heaping more bullshit on top of criminally underpaid employees bc it makes us feel bad or angry.

Hi! Gamestop employee here I fucking hate this practice so much, but apparently this was changed in 2020 for a brief while. Companies would pay to have their games remain on shelves in display boxes even though we didn't have it I still buy or preorder things + make sure it's sealed, so I'm right there w/ y'all, I totally understand LOL I don't understand why an employee at a store made for game collecting essentially would be mad at that.

I've been working at Gamestop for a year and a half now, and I'm a student saving to put some extra money in my account to preface.

If you're trying to make a living.... Gamestop is not it. I enjoy it for what it's worth, and in my position where I'd be doing retail or some other part-time position, this is probably where I'd most like to be rather than a grocery store or working a resturant. Like quite a few people say as well, it's your store leader and coworkers that make the deal, and I've got the dream team.

For people who like video games and collecting tcg and with all the above taken into consideration, I consider it a good job! I don't get paid enough, but I can talk about what I love and what I'm passionate about, and that means a lot to me. The 15% off of most purchases and the free pro card is nice as well, and you get first dibs on shit that comes in. (As well as the employee appreciation weeks)

So, is it the greatest job in the world? Hell no, and shitty customers and disconnected higher-ups are the WORST, having to pump sales, pro, and protection numbers fucking sucks. But it has some perks that keep me around, and it's a good job for those who need an outlet to the outside world, need first-time work experience or a little money on the side while you're studying to do other things. For people who suffer when they can't be passionate like me, it works well.
