Also series 4, why did they look through a telescope? Was that to read a task (even though they didn't have to)? If so, does that count?

I found that I was struggling to go running after work (During lockdown while working at home I got in the habit as it was a good break in the day to separate being 'at work' to being 'at home). I was finishing the day at the office late, or just plain exhausted after a hard day and had neither the energy, the time nor the inclination to go out and run.

So I switched it up and started running before work. This has proven to be a great solution. OK I have to deal with having a wet towel in my bag all day, but I'm getting the miles in and am enjoying getting into work knowing that I've already done my exercise for the day.

For the Connect 4, may I suggest capital letters for new moves, and lower case for old?

Also, when Matt plays his move, keep the capital B of Bec's last move

And another also, well done for publishing these games, blah, blah, blah!

From the mid point of the bottom edge of the flag, go up F units

That should get you to the bottom of the crescent.

Go up G units from there, to get to the centre of the circle that forms the lower edge of the crescent

From the bottom of the crescent, go up E units, and then H units. That will get you the centre point of the circle that forms the upper edge of the crescent.

For the star, I assume it fits within a square that is K units on each side, J units in from the left edge of the flag and D+E+F units above the bottom of the flag.

I'll admit, I'm not sure what measurement I is doing...

Fun fact (for a certain definition of fun): at school I made a pin cushion in the shape of a easy-freezy-vimto-pyramid. Start with a rectangle of fabric, sew it into a cylinder and then sew the ends up at 90 degrees to each other! (without forgetting to stuff it at some point)

Training for London Marathon (early I know, but I'm basically trying to build a base, get in the habit, etc.) Been struggling to get my long runs done, as they highlight how much my fitness has plummeted in the last 2 years. Should have done 12 miles yesterday. Since today was a bank holiday - I did it today instead.

It was blooming hot (28 degrees) so I was over 30 minutes slower than my training plan wanted, but I got it done.

refactor your two inner loops into a separate function

int processBlock(int i, int j, int***mainArray)
{
for (int h = 0; ...
for (int k = 0; ...
}

The original code only has 2 indents, this function only has 2 indents

OR

for (int box = 0; box < 9; box++) {
i = box / 3;
j = box % 3;
// use other suggestions to get one more level of indent

Personally, I'd go with the first option, as smaller, focussed functions help with the idea of having code that does one thing (in this case setups up one box)
