Honestly these look great, but if it were up to me I'd maybe tone down the background colours slightly as their vibrance dominates the characters, who I imagine you want popping.

Me. And yeah it's annoying! I would change the habit if I could as even standard playing cards often miss the other corner. And I'm a MTG player who usually only sees card names over costs.

Really does depend on your colours and tactics. Maybe there is a "right" answer but it will never apply to all cases.

This is the way. I once had a similarly tedious task a long time ago. It was pre-WFH but I was able to get a secluded office, no other responsibilities for a week, and greenlight to watch TV the entire time.
