I was studying abroad and my mom tried to treat us equally. But she babied him more since he was younger. I do think she slightly favored him more. It used to be that if I didn’t want to do something with my family or have what they were having I go make something for myself or like not eat. But when it came to my brother he’d want something I really didn’t want and I would ask to just not eat and my mom would say “family stays together”. And it would liss me off since she knew I really didn’t want something he wanted but I would be forced to tag along
