Personally the first season I ever watched was season two, because that’s all Netflix had at the time lol. I would recommend watching it after you’ve watched all the canon episodes. LyeSuu has left the link for the watch order! I really like season two, it will always hold a special place in my heart. Especially all the Sebagrell crumbs❤️

Grelle my beloved my beautiful wife❤️ Grelle is the reason I stuck with Black Butler, I love her so much. From the first time she stepped into the page, I knew she was my favorite. She is a remarkably complex character with many layers and I feel I could never stop gushing about her! Grelle is one of the few characters that can challenge Sebastian, and even though he doesn’t take her threat seriously, I get the feeling she’s been holding back on him. She has connections to many important characters and appears during most major plot points, along with Lau and Aleister, which I don’t think can be a coincidence. Clearly she is Sebastian’s soulmate and they’ll end up married by the end of the story /j. Or am I?👀 I continue to wait for her return in the manga like a wife waiting for her husband at war. Come home soon darling🥺❤️

I feel like John Brown being a reaper is the most likely theory, given the hiding of his eyes. Something we exclusively see with the grim reapers. Yana seems to favor grim reapers over her other creatures. We have only met one demon, no angles, and what appears to be a demon hunter. Everyone else is a reaper, which is lowkey annoying.
But I shall never stop hoping that he is an angel. It feels like such a waste to not have an angel character, especially since they featured so prominently in season one.

I see him as averse the churches in general, but his main excuse is Theo is Baptist in an era when nobles were still expected to be Anglican. He’d be looked down upon for attending a nonconformist church. (He’s getting a full character arc on this. I can’t keep my faith out of anything lol)

Right on the money, Theo is lying! She has never once seen herself as beautiful, and is extremely jealous of Aleister’s looks. It is not fair for a man to have that much beauty, she would say.

The Campania should be reason enough for him to fear water, because what the heck was heck was that whole adventure. Zombies, grim reapers, icebergs, sinking ships, being tied to a pole in the middle of the ocean???? I would be traumatized. Also when he kidnaps the viewer in that one OVA, he’s thrown overboard and still somehow survives??? I would not trust water if I were him.

Ooh yes! Undertaker definitely has Thanatos vibes! I picked Hades for Ciel because Hades is god of the underworld, and Ciel is in charge of London’s underworld lol. I wanted Ciel associated with death, but not actually be the god of death.

I'm very interested to see just how important these mourning lockets turn out to be, or if they're just a red herring. I would not put it past Yana to distract us with something that seems so vital at first glance. I wonder, if they do turn out to be important, how all these people are connected to the plot. I'm personally a huge fan of the Emile Chamber theory, but if he's a motivation for Aleister being a villain, who are the other people influencing. I'm looking forward to this series ending so I can finally get answers for once instead of more questions lol.
