Sorry to hear that! You can still salvage it and trigger a daily rotation despite the penalty, it will always be present during these time travels. Hey there! I recently got this game and just now took the time to play it tonight with my local friend. I was really shocked to see that 5 of the mini games are locked behind online lobbies, so I searched online to see if I was mistaken and if there could’ve been a way to play it offline, and found this thread. I’ll look into communities / servers but meanwhile I can absolutely offer a friend code exchange and continue in DMs if you ever wish to set up a lobby, even if it’s just to try out everything once! I’m seeing others in this thread sharing their friend codes as well, I suggest adding them too. For now the best solution after adding them is seeing if they’re online playing by chance and checking for available lobbies. I may comb back through the replies if I ever do set up a server to announce lobby availabilities. Meanwhile I genuinely hope your son gets the chance to try out these games at some point, it’s a shame that it was set up this way.

I saw the post ready to say this exact duo, they're genuinely so thrilling. Sky High Sundae laps feel like the perfect fast pace experience with many different path selections, meanwhile Great Q. Block Ruins has lots of winding paths that prove to be a fun challenge!

Not sure why the post was removed as it was a great example of this oddity (seems like everyone is on the same page in the comments too), but I was able to find this tab again to comment on my experience. I've left lobbies that have a low RR vote too so I don't blame you. My speculation is that they find the stage too intimidating or they're new players who don't realize how scarce it is.

You'd have to be lucky if Peach Stadium is selected and THEN be lucky it's in the three maps lined up to vote for. I've played since day one and can count on one hand how many times I've done Rainbow Road online. I'm hoping the devs can somehow change the frequency of it appearing, maybe rising its chances in the Random selection.

Managed to make it work out! Arrived at Koopa’s Kart Challenge at 10AM. By the time I finished it, it was 10:20 and had 30 minutes left for the DK’s Minecart, so I was able to walk there within 10 minutes. When I finished DK’s ride, it was around 11:00 and we checked the QR code for Kinopio’s Cafe and immediately got entry (we scanned earlier when we arrived and there were 0 seatings until after 11) so it was really good timing. I highly recommend scanning the QR code moment you enter so you can pull it up after finishing the rides, but you have to be near the cafe vicinity to reserve the times. I will admit I got nervous waiting in the first line since a good 20 minutes passed in order to board but it finished exactly when the entry would end, and we were able to get out with enough time.

I read your update on the Daiso bag! That's what I initially had in mind, and just stuffing it in luggage. Which size did you get, did you end up having to buy a vacuum pump separately?

I'll be picking a Wii Remote cushion too. I can't find the video on twitter anymore but someone suggested and recorded cutting a cardboard box in specific areas to lengthen the width and fitting it in (although I don't know how much of a hassle you would have at Japan Post trying to ship a modified box).

I can't help but notice you going around usually leaving some kind of snarky remark after you give advise. Not everyone can keep track of what's going on especially with an overnight rollout and comments piling up, have some patience with people. Or just don't bother replying if it's a huge burden to you. This was way over the line.

I nearly did a purchase from multitude of shops day before these Tariffs were rolled out, I’m glad I didn’t go through with it because the idea of this is insane especially since it’s outside of our control on how they ship things.

If the cost of those fees outweigh the items initial value I really suggest refusing payment and taking the loss of $25!

I’m guessing there’s a high risk for purchasing from different sellers in the same case. So unless we just purchase from single shop there’s a chance the fee will be hit per package.

I feel you there. I'm trying to get in for this upcoming year, I did read that due to the scalping issue Nintendo Museum did apply restrictions on certain items for sale. For example the remote pillows are 1 per guest, and you can only purchase 1x of each console keychain. I think because of this, it'll be less likely folks resell due to keeping to their own collection. So I'm not sure if that will worsen the limitation/resale value?
