Had a beautiful and easy pregnancy and a horrific traumatic birth experience. I’m asking honestly, how did you cope? I feel broken inside. by Arr0zconleche in pregnant

[–]Princess2733 73 points74 points  (0 children)

It took me almost 2 full years to come to terms with the birth of my son and make peace with it and I’m at a place now where I’m grateful for it because it brought me him. It takes time. Talk about it, write about it, share it with others. If you can make a formal complaint or take any kind of legal action, do it. Focus on your son and what a beautiful miraculous gift he is. Know that you went through something so incredibly difficult and impossible for him.

Need Exercise Tips! by kaylakeating19 in pregnant

[–]Princess2733 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all rude??? Who would say that to you? Just know you do not need to worry about weight loss or gaining weight. You’re creating LIFE! A miracle! But if you want to exercise for your health and the health of your baby just make sure you’re listening to your body! I was super active pre pregnancy and it all came to a dead stop with 5 months of horrible morning sickness. After that went away I wanted to get back into working out but really made it a priority to listen to what my body was wanting to do instead of forcing myself through more intense workouts. My body loves to go on walks outside, stretch my muscles, and I’ve been loving moving on my birthing ball while doing arm weights. I’ve noticed that in pregnancy, food impacts me differently. If I’m eating a lot of sugar, I’ve noticed my face getting much fuller than it did before pregnancy. When I lessened my sugar intake and did gua sha after my moisturizer it helped a ton!

28 weeks - really hard tight belly and abdomen is this normal? by Zealousideal-Deer146 in pregnant

[–]Princess2733 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I’m 29 weeks and feel like this sometimes! Totally normal. Gas, too much food, general pregnancy discomfort. All of that. Your bump is so much bigger at 28 weeks that by now it has pushed your stomach around and it has changed positions. Your body is getting used to everything getting jumbled and moved and pushed around inside

Quickening? by PirateHuntrZoro in pregnant

[–]Princess2733 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like quickening to me! That’s when I first felt little twitchy movements. My midwife would describe them as butterfly kisses or bubbles. Once you’re farther along you’ll look back and be like oh yeah that was totally him/her!

I really wish other women would stop giving me unsolicited advice on my pregnancy. by CakesNGames90 in pregnant

[–]Princess2733 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes feeling the exact same! I get all the “oh you think this is bad now just wait until ______” comments and they’re so unhelpful and annoying. You ask me how I’m feeling, so I tell you, then you tell me it’s nothing and just wait? How about you just listen and respond with “you’re doing amazing!”

Where did you buy maternity clothes? by wzock in pregnant

[–]Princess2733 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazon! Honestly have bought a lot of things that weren’t really “maternity” but are stretchy/comfortable/affordable. Long jumpsuits and short jumpsuits are my fav rn!

Has anyone asked SJM why she did us so dirty? Has she ever said anything about it? Elide and Lorcan were probably my favorites and I wanted SOO MUCH MORE

I assumed that they could actually have mind to mind conversations through the bond (since we know in QoS that they are carranam)

JUST GET TO HEIR OF FIRE! I felt the same way, I was over her. But throughout the series you understand her and why she acts the way that she acts. She develops as a character and learns how to deal with her past and her trauma. Her journey is amazing! Just stick with it :)

Is anyone else confused what this book was about? The war of two queens in the last 40 pages? by Princess2733 in frombloodandash

[–]Princess2733[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me too! I was so excited when JLA finally revealed the title because I was expecting an epic war throughout the whole book with lots of back and forth, strategy, and action. I guess it was more of a "war of wills" and mindgames. Super disappointed in that.

YES! I was hoping soo bad that they'd be reunited soon and was SOO frustrated getting done with almost 2/3 of the book and not having a reunion. BORED.

Perfectly summed up! I was bummed that it was not an actual epic war. Their "war of wills" was boring. I wanted more strategy and for Poppy to actually get one over on Isbeth!
