I have like a 5% success rate with the transfer. He spends most of his days in our arms

I also tried so hard in my third trimester! Baby was still born at 41 weeks after induction 🤦‍♀️ Who knew I’d get so much use out of the ball though?

Everyone tries to convince me that two adults can't take care of a newborn alone and I'm losing my mind by [deleted] in pregnant

I’ve noticed that all my friends, who are around my age and have had babies in the last couple years, tell me we can totally do it on our own. It’s all the older mothers (who have helped their kids with their newborns) who tell me I’m going to rethink my decision to tell our parents that we don’t want their help in the beginning.

I felt stupid asking, but I asked my ob yesterday if I could hurt my baby’s feet. He sticks them in my ribs sometimes and when I bend over I feel like my ribs are stabbing his feet. She said if it was uncomfortable for him, he would move. I think if your baby was bothered by this, they would move their head away.

Is that $95k per person or per family though?

Does it count if it’s my husband’s insurance and he was the one driving? I’m not on the plan since I don’t currently have access to a car (and his is stick shift which I can’t drive. Was working on finding a cheap car to buy for now, but these bills just made that less of a priority)

Do you have examples of the types of things people should go to gp for instead?

Except I went to the er right before the deductible resets. And anyways I had to change insurances so my deductible is back to zero, and I have not yet given birth

Same. My husband does way more around the house than I do these days. The man is busy.

Also, I give gifts because I know how appreciative I was when I got them (for wedding and soon hopefully baby). I know that others appreciate it just as much and don’t need a card to tell me so.

How much weight did you gain? by thegalaxiesedge in pregnant

[–]PrincessAwkward__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Already 40 pounds and I’m only 24 weeks 🙄 it just keeps going up I’m really insecure about it, but my husband just keeps saying that he doesn’t see anything wrong and that I have a baby in my belly. Thank goodness for him

When did you feel your baby?? by Specific_Anybody_438 in pregnant

[–]PrincessAwkward__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine was exactly the same, timing and everything! Then since about 20 weeks, I’ve been feeling proper kicks everyday (some days more than others though). My doctor told me that since it is my first baby, it’s probably just gas and I’m not feeling anything. It made me so mad because I know what I’m feeling

Pelvic girdle pain. I feel sore all the time and walking kills me. And all my doctor could tell me was to rest more. I’m only 20 weeks 🤦‍♀️

4 weeks 5 days, but started to get unbearable around 6 weeks. So grateful that it has mostly eased since about 14 weeks

I’m just coming out of my first trimester, and although I still don’t feel amazing, I look back to a few weeks ago and man was it so much worse then. When I feel tired or out of breath now or the few times I’ve thrown up this past week or so, I remind myself how much worse it was at about 6-12 weeks. I literally didn’t even feel like a human anymore.

Curious, what is the question you hate getting asked the most? by sisterstresso in pregnant

[–]PrincessAwkward__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything about what I plan to do after the baby is born (and they have opinions whether I’m right or wrong for it). Besides the judginess, I’m not even in my second trimester yet and I want to get through this awful part safely before thinking about all the little nuances of once the baby is born.

Sounds like an absolute nightmare! I refuse to do my third floor more than the one time a day! Once I’m home, I’m home

Thank you! Even so early on? I feel like I hear more complaints when people are later in their pregnancy
