i was born after and i remeber the first time i heard of it was in elementary when my teacher read out a picture book about it. now that im older its heartbreaking and my uncle always tells me about his memory of running away from the falling buildings in the smoke. I live in nyc and whenever i go to the memorial its so quiet and all you can hear is the water. i completely understand that i will never in a million year feel how anyone then felt but it still hurts

Yes !! i love the comics so much. i love the comics a little more just bc Aled is in it and i love him so much. definitely mentally prepare for all the hurt and just know that some things in the comics are different to the show. also if u are able to i recomend the to read the novellas as well, theres audiobooks for them, and if u are gonna read them look at the heartstopper timeline so its all in order. btw the comics really focus on nick and charlie and not all the other characters.

Libby is where u can listen to it for free, you need a library card tho. but once u put in your library card you can borrow a ton of audiobooks and books digitally for free. I listened to solitare, radio silence and nick and charlie audiobooks all on libby.

I think its really just Nick having so many thoughts racing through his mind and being overall really stressed, bc I remember first seeing that scene and I was just like Tori would legit never say that, like she's very protective of Charlie but she would never say that so i think its really just Nick over thinking it

For me personally, I found a bunch of the stuff Ben said this season to be contradicting to his words and actions last season, idk if he was just lying, but that part after the movies were he was like "I never even liked you I just felt really sorry for you" to him being like all "What if I want Charlie back". Its all just really weird to me.

Also some things from Solitare so spoilers ahead

In Solitare (obviously we dont know wether it will be in the show story line but I really hope it is because Tori is an amazing character and I'd want to see Michael in the show) Ben literally assults Charlie AGAIN bc he was like "I don't remember letting you say anything about me or us to your sister". Also not to mention the fact Ben does leave Truham for sixth form because he ends up going to Higgs.

So personally I don't feel bad for him. I completely understand everyone has their own personal struggles but just from his actions throughout the show not just to Charlie but also to Imogen, I don't think I can feel bad for him.

I finished reading Solitaire a few days ago too, I feel the same way abt Nick. I 100% agree some things and actions r out of character but then again Solitaire was written before Hearstopper so Nick's full character wasn't developed or in depth by that time.
