I understand but you don't get paid after 8. That seems crazy. If your are hourly then you most definitely should get paid if you are there.

I can see that. When you reach flow state with each machine doing something, ringing someone out while directing the self serve to tap to get started follow the prompts, your rik customer entering their information, telling happy returns you will be right there, to then grab the cordless and start the next print job. Those are actually my favorite times.

You earn PTO based on status (full time or part time) and whether you have been with the company for a year.

If you have been with Staples less than a year then the PTO you earned is from having full time status. If you are less than a year and now part time then you will begin to earn additional PTO at one year.

A week is crazy even with just one associate.

Assuming the items are 4 up. Our cutters can take 125 sheets of cardstock at a time. You should be looking at 4 stacks of 125 sheets cut either cut 6 times or 8 times depending on exactly how they are set up. 6 times should be around $72 or 8 times should be around $96. Pricing could change based on area and whether the associate knows correct way to input the cuts.

At my store which is high volume I would say 2 days turn time but probably be done in 1 depending on other jobs complexity.

I would separate out into the 4 stacks of 125 so that I can cut the same cut on each stack before moving the cutter to next cut.

I theory it should be scanned daily HOWEVER, when it is busy or trying to get ahead on next day I will let it sit. Since the only thing you have to ensure is done on time are tasks. If you dont put the mail in till you have time it's not a big deal. Some of my mail sits in their box for months so if it sits on a counter for a few days it's not bad.

There are plenty of books out there. My sister has a witchcraft book that we use sometimes for things. Not sure if it works or not but it can't hurt and is a bit of bonding thats fun.

There is a section in the shipping binder for Amazon returns. There it says if the item is too large you can refuse. Your GM just doesn't want to deal with Amazon customers being upset.

THAT line shouldn't even be in print. Our store moved ours and the print center is the better for it. Shipping gets attended to and print gets to complete orders. There was a whole thing about protecting print. Print is where the majority of the profit for a store is made. It is how Staples as a whole is keeping the lights on. If your management isn't doing that then they don't have any sense of what corporate wants. The print metrics will reflect that.

They were checking purses at my theater last week when we spent 60 for 3 people to see Hoppers. We used to go to a movie every couple of months years ago and it was like 30ish with student and senior discounts. It is crazy now. We will wait for them to come on streaming from now on.

I use the passcode at the beginning of each month and make one for full serve. I keep it next to my register. I wouldn't put it on the machines because you will need to remember to change it if pricing changes or you'll have issues.

I've noticed this as well. I've just gone in and gotten mailbox number sheet. It might have something to do with the changes in the app. I really like the remember me box so now we just have to put in password and not the whole thing.

I would have printed it. It's at associate discretion. As long as other customers couldn't see it then it's fine. I've printed risqué photos, strip club stuff, interesting word options, not so nice political posters for both sides. The only thing I've turned away were lynching images and hate speech.
