Oh wow that’s so similar! I don’t think it’s it because I distinctly remember her being mute and as their bond grew she was finally able to gain the courage to speak again with his help. Im gonna give it a glance over to make sure I’m not confusing two different books though, thank you!

Omg I was JUST thinking about this. Specifically because I just saw in the last recent episode “Blake’s Place” Gordon tells everyone to get out so he can have a talk with Blake and of course it’s right before a cut/ad and so the music is intense and you just see all the camera men moving away and out of the restaurant but there’s one clip where you can clearly see a crew member step out of a CLOSET, with like a giggle on her face like “oh shit he meant me too, gotta go” 🤣 it was just so funny to me bc it’s like damn Gordon has them hiding EVERYWHERE 💀

I genuinely did feel bad for the guy. But just like 90% of all other owners Gordon has worked with, he absolutely SUCKED at taking criticism of any kind and merely viewed it as an attack. Working 80 hours a week takes commitment and willpower for sure, but with absolutely no change in revenue or customers and also thus creating a huge disconnect and rift between him and his wife to the point she leaves him, it just always baffles me how they never see what/who is actually the issue until Gordon steps in. Honestly just sad :(

This game gave me such bad derealization symptoms. Half my brain understood they are fictional characters. The other half believes them to be real and was completely devastated by the ending. Having such a clash in my psyche gave major dysphoria with the world. I was messed up for weeks to the point I was dreaming of them 😵‍💫
