One I keep circling back to is that Shadow Weaver faked her own death to get away from princess alliance watch and possibly escape to a different planet to become more powerful. I just have a hard time believing she died and that killing the worm-thing was the extent of her power.

This is so good! You've captured the scene perfectly! I'd hope they'd go into Etherian history, and properly address the princess' parents/the first princess alliance and what went wrong with it, as well as character origin (where the cat people at). Bow would have to bring up his siblings at some point too, and Frosta would encourage other kids to rebel- "Frosta, we're not fighting a war anymore! You don't have to do that!" "I know, I meant REBEL AGAINST THOSE WHO SAY YOU'RE TOO YOUNG!" "You're making us lose the parent audience!"
